olemiss
I have a 2011 Frankenpistol that is made of various parts from other pistols. It has a Kimber .40 top end on a PT frame. The barrel has been in 3 guns total. I keep getting this jam where the round starts to enter the chamber but looks like the angle is too great. If I just relieve the spring pressure trying to close the slide, the round straightens out and enters the chamber. Does anyone know what causes this. It does this will all of my STI .40 magazines. The ammo is a 180 g bullet loaded to 1.205 over all length, and it passes the plunk test. Edited November 16, 2014 by olemiss
