ron169
Seems like they would make an attachment that would connect to a piccatinny/weaver rail on a pistol

ron169
No, mount the unit to the rail beneath the gun, and have the sensors forward of the barrel. The only mounting hardware I'm aware of is for rifles and revolvers that go around the barrel

427Cobra
I have a V3, for rifles it's fantastic, surpressed, muzzle braked, or just plain crown it hasn't missed a shot or given any silly readings, on my rifle I have a POI shift of .2mils up, and my group opens up, but at 1000 my Applied Ballistic Kestrel was spot on. 427Cobra
Now works with pistols with rails http://www.magnetospeed.com/collections/magnetospeed-accessories/products/v3-rail-adapter
Steve RA
Now to develop one that will work on one without the rails.
amada8
Ordered this new tool for reloading. Already shot up one CE that still works as the bullet missed the sensors. But.....it's only a matter of time lol.
amada8
Finally got out to the range with the MagnetoSpeed v3. Attaching it to a CZ-75D was fairly simple, though I did try to use the clamp upside down at the start. Will probably mark the top side to make attachment go more smoothly. Plug in the cable to the sensor and the other end to the display unit and the screen showed ready. Gun felt lighter than expected and not particularly front-heavy. Notice how the readings toward the end seem to decrease. Will pay more attention to this next time. The MS out of box for pistol had only one hiccup. Without the strap needed for rifle attachment, there is a small plastic cover for the data cable port that is free to travel within a slot. NO BIG DEAL....just wanted to mention that a small dab of Crazy Glue did the trick from me after talking with tech support. amada8
I did not have a perfect start with this chrono. You might want to read through the thread linked below before purchasing. I do have it worked out for my CZ75D. You may need to do an adjustment for your specific set of guns as well.....or maybe not. http://www.czfirearms.us/index.php?topic=69339.
rmi63
I have used it with a CZ75 SP-01 with the rail adapter and it worked great.
