benos
Sad, we only had one unofficial winner, and everyone's given up. Oh well, I suppose it was unreasonable anyway. Okay, here it is: I wipe my a•• after I s*** just like the rest of you'all. Comon, that wasn't that tough, was it? We NEED to have a winner, especially as we approach the holiday season, right? So, whoever can correctly identify (name both the utterer of the line and the movie title) both the following movie lines in the same post will be November's winner (and who hasn't yet this year): (I don't know the first one, posted by downo, so I'm including it just so I can watch the movie.) "What are we gonna use, harsh language?" And #2, "I don't buy it Irv, the car's dirty."
Shooter Grrl
OHMYGAWD - that's what I thought it was... but I was too sheepish to actually ask/post if I was right ;
3quartertime
Yea, like that was going to be my next guess. Last 'win a book' before the holidays. Huh, I fear my minor intellect is going to hurt me majorly again!!! I think I know down0's. Still can't find benos'. Lucky I already bought a book. BrianH
I think I know down0's. Still can't find benos'. Benos went out of business back in the late 70's. We had one next to Jordanos (which turned to Lucky)
redmist10
The first one is Bill Paxton, Aliens, after they take away their ammo for fear of blowing up the reactors in the cocoon area. I'm clueless on the second one. Maybe Kurt Russell, Used Cars...? LOL

benos
We're running out of time... I thought sure someone would get it. Lucky The Great One's not on here... be
benos
Okay, "I don't buy it Irv, the car's dirty" was uttered by Gene Hackman in the French Connection... as he was staring in disbelief at the suspects (drug-carrying) car, which was COMPLETELY disassembled in front of him. I can't believe no one got that classic line! be I have to say, after a few years of trivia, tonight, I'm feeling trivia'd out. If anyone has a suggestion for December, email or message me and I'll post it. BTW, I liked the suggestion to list a bunch of movie quotes in the Favorite Books and Movies Forum. Anyone else? be
