Tac-Sport .40 Mag options for Open

I am looking for some 171mm Magazines or Mag & Extended Base Pad that =170mm-171mm in 40 S&W. Does anyone have a source that they know of?

I don't know of anything off of the shelf that would get you to 170mm, you would have to get something custom welded.

I was thinking the same thing, but it has control ribs to make the rounds stagger tighter and that would hurt capacity.

Yeah, if you opened up the feed lips on a 170mm 9mm mag you would probable end up with less rounds than a 140 mm .40 mag.

serious work on the feed lips and will not get the optimal capacity with the ribs.

best bet is to cut and weld two .40 mags.

bet combination I can think of

TS mag X2

13 coil spring and follower kit

TS Short basepad

cut and weld.

spendy proposition though
