meatsauce
Specifically Texas Star Hibiscus. With other Hibiscus plants I've grown from seeds, I've cut the seed a little bit with a utility knife before planting. Do I do the same with the Texas Stars? Not much information on them (that I found).

SiG Lady
I Googled "how to grow the Texas Star Hibiscus from seed" and a whole mess of things popped up.
Youngeyes
Sorry. No help here. I have a black thumb. I tried growing pot back in college and it died. And it's a frickin' weed.

meatsauce
Turns out I had a Google redirect virus which is why I wasn't finding anything. Now that I've fixed that, still nothing on nicking seeds or not except someone else asking the same thing. Guess that means one doesn't nick open these seeds. Thanks guys. Steve RA
Nick one, don't nick another and see which works the best.

lilgary
Sorry, not much info here. I do have a mad scientist type friend who might know. I will check with him.
meatsauce
I did exactly that. Nick half, left half alone. By the way, after fixing the google redirect I got a BSOD soooo now I have a brand spanking new laptop. Yay!
