  1. Does anyone know where I could put my hands on a M3K Freedom? I can’t find one in stock anywhere.
  2. Statesville it will be. Lake lure is a bit far for me. Now I need winter clothing. Shorts are not cutting it here. Thanks guys.
  3. Been a member for a little bit now but just moved from central FL to Winston - Salem NC. Hope to meet some new people and find somewhere to shoot soon. I googled "3-gun winston salem" and didnt get much help.
  4. Ha! Sounds about right
  5. No pics were ever posted and I could never get a response. Thanks Stuart - I figured as much since I googled it and found nothing.
  6. I tried reaching this person with no results until it finally appeared as "sold". I've never heard of a Hobdell Edition TS. What is it? http://floridaguntrader.com/index.php?a=2&b=535868 Edited to add - I know who Angus Hobdell is, just not a hobdell TS.
  7. Another vote for the Miculek comp. Hard to beat it for price and performance
  8. This is exactly what it's like. It's not the tightest fitting block. I'll shoot it one evening this week and pull the gas block to see if it looks like it's leaking.
  9. Sorry guys, was out of town for a few days. I'm using a Seekins gas block
  10. I tried this but it would not run again until I fiddled with the gas adjustment. Then it would run as long as I wanted. As soon as it cooled down....nada. I did try turning the gas up quite a bit with the same results. No reloads, was shooting 55gr. Geco target ammo.

  12. Ok, I decided to build an AR. First trip out was yesterday morning to dial in scope and adjust gas block. Once I found the sweet spot with the gas block it would run through a magazine with no issues. Then I took a break, 4-5 minutes, when I go to shoot again there's not enough gas (ejecting but not stripping off the next round). Off with the handguard and go through the process again - shoots great until I set it down for a few minutes. When I go back to it - the same damn thing, not enough gas. I turned the gas up, down, every which way and it always did the same thing. What am I doing wrong?
  13. Mods, please delete this - I reposted in Rifle - Technical. Thanks Tonythe Tiger
  14. It has a set screw ( that I tightened after every adjustment). Gas block is torqued down. Pretty positive there is plenty of lube. - Ive never heard of a problem like this and the couple people Ive asked in person look at me like I'm a nut. It's gotta be something stupid but I'm at a loss.

  16. I can respect and agree with that. ( the second part - I like those movies )
  17. How many of you guys liked Rambo? How about Predator or the Terminator's? James Bond? And yet Connery, Stallone, and Schwarzenegger are all anti-gun. If you based what movies you see on the actors/actresses personal views you could never see another movie.

    Which one?

Production Optics. Which Jimmy - Kimmel or Fallon?
  19. What do you mean by "work on the draw backwards" Rowdyb? Am I overthinking or is it exactly what it sounds like ?

    Picked up a VP9

Only from Gray Guns. He made some kind of internal over travel stop. Id like to see how much difference it actually makes. You need a certain amount of over-travel to clear the striker block safety. Doesn't seem like you could reduce it by much?
  21. OK - J&L has a horrible website. I don't see the thumb rest anywhere. How much are they getting for them Phoenixsomd?

Any tricks or tips on installing the sear spring from the ultra match kit? I just ordered the kit (not in hand yet) and wondering if I should have ordered the HK spring tool as well...?
  23. geez guys. My wife reads this once in a while. If she sees this lovey dovey stuff about people not shooting on birthdays and anniversaries Im gonna catch hell. Cut it out.
  24. Its pretty funny if you like her lewd humor. Nothing I couldn't have waited on though.
  25. Welcome to the forum from another Seminole county resident.
