blairmckenzie1
I wouldn't waste the time with the 20, 21, 22 grains. And a WOA should be pretty close to ready to rock out of the box. I would load a few closer to what you are looking for as far as a load and shoot a few and see how the barrel cleans up. If it looks pretty good after 15-20 rounds I would go for it. I wanna say 24 grains was a good load for me, but it's been a while since I shot 77's.
MarkCO
Get a Chrono, forget about break-in...waste of time, money and ammo.

dauntedfuture
23-24.5 of varget with 77's will do it.
HighCountryStalker
Agree with all above. You did good on the Chrono. Stepping up a full grain at a time is too much. Start closer to what you expect and bump it 0.3 gr at a time for your 5 shot groups to find your accuracy and velocity.
OdinIII
23-24.5 of varget with 77's will do it. This sounds about right. 25 grains of Varget is VERY hot in my bolt gun. 23.5 is just right and works as far as you should be shooting. Dirtychemist
Do this. Faster results. http://optimalchargeweight.embarqspace.com/ocw-instructions/4529817134 Barrel break in is shooting the gun. It should actually be called barrel wear out because that's all your doing.
