norbyam22
So I am getting into 3G and looking at getting a belt. Alot of people are suggesting the ELS and am leaning in that direction. What my question is, is I wear a 30'' belt right now. The inner belt I would get to be a 30... Are your outer-belts longer? Any help would be appreciated. fireman489
Ive been reading about this belt system as well, and just ordered it 5 min ago. your outer belt is supposed to be 1 size (2") bigger than your waist size...Im a 36" waist so my outer belt is a 38".... hope this helps... norbyam22
That is exactly what I wanted to know. Thanks! Where did you order from? I'm looking at having to get a bunch of parts individually. Is there a spot where you can order the whole rig?
Onagoth
I also got 2" larger and the fit is good. You definitely don't want to much overlap on a 3gun belt. Also, get lots of extra mounting plates (both pieces, but especially the ones that mount to the gear). You run out fast if you shoot multiple disciplines. norbyam22
How much did it cost ya'll to have your ELS set up the way you wanted?
bishop414
+2" for the outer. If you are setting up the entire belt, look for a 50% Safariland coupon especially if you need mag holders. Looking around +/- $200 for both belts, 8-10 clips with receiver plates and couple mag holders.
Onagoth
I think I have about $450 into my belt, but I bought everything with a 50% off coupon and bought lots of extra stuff as well. If you use cali comp shell caddies, I strongly recommend you buy them with the plate already attached. Trying to get the forks onto the stainless steel was a real PITA

venatic
I bought my pant size (34) and it fits perfect for both under belt and outer belt. That is what Safariland recommended.
