.40AET
A search turned up some ideas that the P/C ramp has a little more material, thus making it a little stronger. Does anyone have any preferences for which ramp feeds better over the other? Thanks in advance.
shred
Schuemann likes the Lissner ramp, which is a modified Clark/Para cut. I think unless you make barrels, there's no noticeable difference. The feeding part looks the same on both.
mcoliver
Not that it has any effect on anything but I noticed the P/C cut doesn't have that "clunk" sound when racking the slide slowly.
warpspeed
Zero difference in feeding. Now cutting the slide is a different story....
wide45
Get the AET barrel. Major feeding improvement. Now cutting the slide is a different story.... Why cut slide? You mean frame?
.40AET
Thanks guys. It sounds like either is a good choice. If nothing else remarkable comes up, I am thinking about another AET barrel with a P/C cut.
Tri Burst
It is harder to cut the frame for a C/P lug and fitting the barrel then it is for the W/N lug and some gunsmiths don't like cutting the frame for the C/P lug, they say it can weaken the frame. This is what I hear not what I know.

This is what I hear not what I know. I think you have the two reversed. The C/P cut can be made with a simple setup on the mill. The frame lies horizontal in the vise. The W/N requires a call to EGW for their special cutter. The frame lies vertical in the vice. Kenny
Kingman
I use the c/p for everything. Getting new frame and it is already cut for a w/n but they can be modified to the c/p cut. If you are using an AET then they only come with the c/p cut.
warpspeed
Get the AET barrel. Major feeding improvement. Now cutting the slide is a different story.... Why cut slide? You mean frame? Yes - I mean frame - DOH!!
BEDELLCUSTOM
the c/p cut is the best way to go. it spreads the load of the recoiling barrel over a larger area and is much stronger.
Mistral404
Kodiak Precision recommended C/P on my Limited. I pretty much trust Don Golembieski's advice. He has built a lot of blasters.
