mulder
I have used Hornady and Winchester in 9mm and both shoot very well and are reasonably priced ( yes I know I am in Australia but they are still reasonable) David
TriggerT
We do a bulk club order from West Coast about every 6 months. REALLY helps keep the shipping costs down. They like it when you call them with an order for 120K bullets. They are great in .45 ACP, but I know some people have had problems with them in certain .40 cal guns. Otherwise, Zero's are great, and I liked MG until I found that I could get the West Coast for about 2/3 the price.
Mistral404
I have purchased few thousand Zero bullets from Angus and was very pleased with them, the price and the service. I do not live in Tempe anymore so I buy what is available -many folks like the MT Gold around here. But they seem to be more expensive than what Angus used to charge us. My first choice would be Zero followed by Mt Gold. Edited November 10, 2004 by Erik Warren

sargenv
I use West coast in guns that don't mind plated bullets (currently my LDA 9mm, S&W 610, and my LDA P16 in 40) but I think that once I start loading for my open gun, I'm going to use MG's. Run n Gun
Armscor,But I guess I'm a liitle biased! Ivan Thread Drift! Ivan, Has Armscor done anything about the undersized .45 issue yet? I’d like to use them but man, 1-2 thousandths undersize is hard to take! Ed
Ron Ankeny
I now use Zero bullets exclusively, with the exception of 200 RN Laser Cast in my .45 revolver. Zero also sells a quality hard cast that I would put up against any lead bullet on the market. Or local dealer sells a ton of West Coast plated bullets. Flexmoney
Ron, Zero has a "hard cast" lead bullet? I thought they just had "swagged"? Same thing?

BEDELLCUSTOM
any major manufacturer jacketed bullet, preferably a hollow point because more of the weight of the bullet is moved to the rear and usually helps with accuracy. i use zero bullets currently but have had good success with others in the past. blackdragon
Ed, I have tested the new shipment and they are running 450-451. I had the plant manager, here from PI. So he has fixed the problem! Ivan Angus, We all know why your key board is sticky! And your point about Ballast is? Ivan
Nemo
I use Berry's 180 HP for my limited gun and 124RN for my kids G17's. They work fine for us.
M16A2556MM
I use many brands, but as far as jacketed bullets, I like ZERO, the price is right and the quality good.

Angus Hobdell
Any body tried Theakstons Old Peculiar. It's a dark British beer and particularly strong, we call it a winter warmer well close too, I am into the 5th bottle and feeling good. Bullet what bullets just sent the last 500 down range? 125 ZERO JHP .355 My comment about ballast was what we English call sarcasm, I shall say no more. 5 Old Peculiars an all http://www.theakstons.com/beer/old_peculier/
