What size fiber for Stock Pro? Where to buy different colors?

I can't remember where I saw it, but there was place where you could buy fiber optic rods in 1-3 foot sections in all colors under rainbow. I personally like the "purple" being a University of Washington grad. However I can't remember where it was. Does anyone know.

Also what is the size of the stock fiber in the pro front sight. Mine broke, and while I welded it together as a quick fix, it is not bright anymore.

Unless you have tried it, I wouldn't recommend the purple. It was barely visible. The only ones that worked for me were green, red, and yellow.

The pro uses .050" or 1.5mm, the Novak sights use .040 or 1.0mm.

i have always been intrigued about BLUE fiber i mean when it comes to neon red is visible , green is visible, yellow is visible but blue neon just seems to light the entire block up. wondered if the same would hold true in fiber ? Blue wave length is strong. anyone ever try it ?
