CE325
My dad gave me all of his reloading equipment all kinds of stuff in bags and Boxes. He got it from my uncle who used to reload everything but quit a few years ago. My dad reloaded me some 9mm but it never worked right. It would not rack the Slide and barely made it out of the barrel! So he pretty much loaded his .357 and gave me everything he had. I have all kinds of stuff just don't know where to start. I have never reloaded But I want to start. My main loads will be 9mm for a stock glock 17 I want to basically learn to load basic bullets then go from there as far as Custom loads as in changing my springs in my gun etc. I will post some pics of what I have if someone can tell me what they are And what they do so I can set everything up. I have all kinds of dies for all kinds of calibers but just want to do 9mm For now. Thanks
dfwmiket
Start with a good reloading manual, probably the Lyman's book. Read all you can, ask around if you have someone who can mentor/supervise, go slow, and be safe. Ask as many questions as you can. -Mike

Steve RA
As stated above, find an experienced reloader in the area and request some help for identification and useage.
mlmiller1
Your pictures from the top down. Top= turret press, next down is a bunch of calibers of dies, third down is a brass trimmer for trimming brass to length, fourth is a hand prime tool, fifth is a bullet puller & a primer flip tray. Next set of pics is pretty obvious but looks like several brands of primers, then a brass tumbler for cleaning brass, then finally is a powder measure box. The Lyman book is a very good primer for learning about reloading. Edited May 17, 2013 by mlmiller1

CE325
I think I pretty much have it all figured out. Just have to get some powder and bullets And get after it.
mlmiller1
You will need, if it isn't there, a good scale, some check weights to be sure your scale is accurate, & a set of calipers. That is pretty much the minimum. There are lots of other tools nice to have but you need those things.
goat68
You can also do a search on the reloading forum for ideas of what other folks are using for loads to help get you started.
