Got Juice?
Well, I decided to join the Dark Side and order up a custom open gun. It will probably see the light of day in the New Year, but until then it's just a question of waiting patiently. So, what's the best way to take your mind off of thinking about it? Hi-Power Jack
Buy ammo.....read and learn all you can I am buying 9mm Berrys at an alarming rate Recommend you learn as much as possible about what type of ammo to use - talk to your gunsmith for his recommendation. Not sure he'll recommend Berrys for an OPEN gun. Usually use MG JHP's. Depending on caliber, not sure that H110 is the way to go, either? What caliber is your new gun? I was thinking the same thing, your bullet and powder choices might need to be re-thought? Mildot

Hi-Power Jack
Jonathon, you realize that if you do any shooting in the US with the .357 you won't have as many rounds in your mags as all your competitors who will be using 9mm major or .38 super? silerlock
Nothing will take your mind off it. Trust me I know!! You will catch your self thinking about it during the whole day. I was even thinking about it when having fun with the lady at home! Just get out and shoot a different division and pretend its you behind the pistol. I understand. With Canada being so bass ackwards in terms of pistol mag limits, if I decide to come for USPSA events, I'll just be changing mags a bit more often. I do love the big sig though. The sound/fury of the round and the ability to tune loads well with all the space in the brass. I have made up loads for a friends sig and it is so soft and flat..... I fell in love compared to 9 major and 38 super.
Jaxshooter
I would also pass on plated bullets in an open gun. JHPs or CMJs only in my opinion.
