Here's the latest info. I've received from Dave.

A note of interest The Moving Wall will arrive Thursday at The World Shooting Complex and will reside there until October 1. The arrival of The Moving Wall a tribute to Vetnam POW-MIAs will take place Thursday, September 27 with a public event beginning 8:00am at The Holiday Inn Express. The Americal Legion Rides will escort the wall from the Holiday Inn to The World Shooting Complex.

To those attending the match the round count remains at 227 but we will have a stage 11 [weather permitting] built. The stage will be a side stage and will not be included in the match. You may shoot the stage but it is not required, to those who do you will need a extra 20-30 rounds. It will but a fix time stage and will be all steel.

To those not yet enter there is still time, attached is a entry form.

Thank you to everyone that made this happen. It was a great match at a great facility! We made the trip over from Columbus Ohio and it was worth every minute of travel time. We will be sure and spread the word in Ohio about the good things going on in Sparta!

This facility might be one of the nicest place in the US. Its definitely in top 5. It's so big I got lost in it. I mean in my car driving 40 mph. This place is hugh. It looks like our state parks in Ohio and our state parks are very nice.

It's primary function is trap but pistol doesn't suffer. 11 bays, I think, with 11 more on the way. Many nice buildings(15+) including an onsite restaurant/bar. The only negative is it's way out there with hotels being a longer drive but I see Area Championships and more like matches being held at the range.

People went out of their way to be friendly and laid back. Hey I shot 227 rds and ten stages in 3.5 hours, $50 with a free lunch and skipped the free dinner to hot foot it home

Match had minor growing pains but I'll take enthusiastic over almost anything.

I hope this place grows to where I see it going.

+1

The facilities, staff, stage's and the match were all top notch. I think it ended much sooner than anyone had imagined and we all just relaxed for a little while until we headed up for the included dinner. After feasting on some really good food the awards were announced and a random drawing took place where everyone left with a prize.

I was on the road home around 6:00 PM.

Thanks to everyone that came out. I know it was a short notice match, but it seemed to go well. There will definately be more to come, we already have the Illinois Sectional Match slated for the same weekend next year and Moses is wanting to have another Open in addition to that.

There are a several motels that are somewhat close, meaning that after you drive down the 4 mile entrance road through the facilty they are about 5-6 miles in Sparta (Holiday Inn ~$120 and the Briarwood INN ~$70 trying to get this setup as the match hotel.) There are also a couple nice mom and pap hotels in Baldwin about 7 miles away. There are also 1000 campsite with water, electric and shower houses.

I hope to have the applications available by the end of the week.

Thanks again
