warpspeed
Volquartsen has also come out with a California legal .223 that takes AR mags. They where showing it at the Shot Show. It looked pretty nice, which is a good thing since they where quoting a price of $1800. A couple things I noticed though where that the one there had a comp with gas ports pointing downwards and the mag release was in the same positiion relative to the mag as an AR. Since the hand is back further due to the more conventional stock, you can't just reach out your trigger finger to release the mag.Louis Well they updated the site Volquartsen has a picture and a price - $ 1931. OUCH!!!!!!!!!! If it shoots sub MOA out of the box w/o any trigger work or such would that be worth it? A JP-15 is $ 1795.
Religious Shooter
I don't know. For a new 3-gunner and Kali resident I would still pick the Mini-14.

ErikW
Isn't there a production quantitity and time frame for Limited (Standard) rifles? If so, the Volquartsen won't make it for a while. Isn't there a .22 caliber minimum for all rifle?
