BobS761
I bought a couple of boxes of .40SW, one blazer and one TRU, and the brass is kinda grey. My first thought was aluminum, but I'm not sure that would even be safe. Maybe steel? Now, I'm not stupid, just never been exposed to this kind of "brass". I assume you cannot reload it. So, what is it? Thanks, B
GrumpyOne
Could be steel, could be aluminum, either way, should be safe
Poppa Bear
Is it a light gray which is aluminum or a darker gray which is usually steel. A magnet will decide it real quick.
Guy Neill
Yes - not to be reloaded. Should not be a problem shooting. Guy
mackey
blazer is usually Al (silver box) unless it specified as brass cased (gold box)
Chris Keen
Mackey nailed it. "Blazer" is traditionally Aluminum. Then some time after Blazer ammo became popular they introduced what they called "Blazer Brass" which is .... you guessed it, Brass and not aluminum.
