dauntedfuture
Bought a new Springfield loaded target 1911 9mm. Great pistol. Bought some Wilson 10 rd magazines. They are a little hard to seat with the slide forward. Attempting to order some Dawson precisions and they are on back order. Should I try Tripp research or somethind else as they are all about the same price. Wilson mags work but dont always lock back and as its for IDPA i would like them to. dkwatch
I use Tripp and Love it on my Springfield 9mm. If enough fund get the metal base pad or get the base pad from Dawson. Somewhere I heard for IDPA is better start 9+1 rounds, so you will get slide lock reload advantage.
CHARLES D
Tripp mags without a dought. Somehow my springs broke in 2 of my magazines. I talked to Aaron at Tripp thinking it was caused by dropping the mags in mud and reloading them without cleaning. He sent me 6 springs at No charge Freight paid. Hard to beat their customer service. Wild Gene
Dawson had metalforms. that is what I just bought from them, they function perfectly in my Kimber 1911 (9mm) lots of good info on this if you look around. wg
