chp5
I read this good advice today. If I had just knew this in my 20's . . . "Don’t get drunk and stupid. Be drunk or stupid, but never both at once. "
tightloop
I think stupid was firmly attached to drunk, at least when I used to do it.

I haven't decided to give up drinking, but I think I will stick to beer and avoid whiskey!!
3quartertime
As far as drinking quotes go my favorite is,,, " I feel sorry for people that don't drink. When they wake-up in the morning, that's as good as they're going to feel all day"... ---Frank Sinatra
Run n Gun
A few years ago I heard someone say that NO ONE, over forty, should have more than two drinks. That statement stuck in my head and I’ve been watching people and their drinking habits, the advice is spot on! Ed
jessej
Ya know i gotta stick up for those off the wagon That's good advice. Know your limits. I've been walking that wire for the past 5 weekends. It's no fun when you gotta puke. Though, when one is having fun around good friends...it does enhance the evening. More shooting less drinking is my motto from now on. George D
As far as drinking quotes go my favorite is,,," I feel sorry for people that don't drink. When they wake-up in the morning, that's as good as they're going to feel all day"... ---Frank Sinatra This is one of my favourites too, only I thought it was attributed to Dean Martin. I like a couple of other of Dean's observations: " You're not drunk if you can lie on the floor without holding on." and " When I read about the evils of drinking I gave up reading."
