Looks for Range

Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. Sorry for the delay, I have been working all day. I use half & half(50/50 mix)white vinegar / 3% hydrogen peroxide. Just let the barrel set in it while you clean the pistol.
  2. They are a very good product, and safe for a stock GLOCK barrel. However you can shoot regular lead from your stock barrel as long as you clean it very well when you are finished so you don’t get a lead build up in your barrel. I have shot lead in my stock barrels for many years. I used regular lead bullets for practice and playing around and the black bullet from Precision Bullets for matches. I use a 50/50 mix of vinegar and hydro. proxi. in a old Gatorade bottle. When I break down the pistol for cleaning, I just drop the barrel in the bottle and let it sit submerged, while I clean the rest of the parts. After everything has been cleaned, I pull the barrel out and run a snake through it and then a clean wipe and it is clean as a whistle. This even worked on an older barrel that had a small amount of lead built up in it, before I knew about the mixture. This is what has worked for me.
  3. I have done a lot of reading on GLOCK sights, however still no answers to my questions. I’m Law Enforcement, and I’m shooting some NRA matches as well, with the G22 & G35. Now, I carry both of these pistols on duty and trying to shoot them at these matches. Everyone there tells me to try a wheel gun, but I just can’t put down my GLOCKS. I currently have the tritium night sights on both. The problem is at 25 yds the front post are just to WIDE, and at 50 yds the target is gone. For duty I use the G35 with the M3 light in a Safariland model ???? duty holster, and the G22 in a Safariland Raptor Level 3 holster. For NRA competition I use the U.M.(I think) Kydex. I’m looking for a good competition sights, but they have to be NIGHT SIGHTS with POI alignment. I think I would like the adjustable rear sights, but I have never used them before, and I would like the rear sights to come the rear of the slide for a little longer sight radius. Please include heights and widths. Please help!!!! Thanks in advance. Kevin
  4. If nothing else change the stock sights. The stock sights are very bad sights. Because you want to line the dot up within the notch, but this is very wrong. You must forget about the dot and the notch, and line up the top of the sights and the space inbetween the sights. Try this before you go spend your money on new sights. If this doesn't work for you then maybe the GLOCK isn't for you. Good Luck, Kevin
  5. Where can I get these sights? I have beening looking at them for some time now. I would like a little more input on the fiber & tritium sights. I'm thinking about putting some on my G35 for duty carry. Thanks, Kevin
  6. I have the LS on my 21 and it works great!
  7. Send your GLOCK to Charlie Vanek. That is all you will need to do for the trigger.
  8. I would have to agree. The best trigger I have ever felt.
  9. You can not use the G34 or G35 in the Amateur Civilian division in GSSF, but you can use it in the Amateur Competition.
