A stupid ass cop at Ohio State called us at 2am to tell us he found our daughter "unresponsive" outside her apartment. When I see found "unresponsive" in the news they are generally dead. She was just partying too hard and passed out. He then decided I needed a lesson in parenting skills after nearly giving me a heart attack. J-Ho Posted August 2, 2011 Share Posted August 2, 2011 I got a knock by the a couple of detectives after 11:00 pm once. A pistol I had bought new (so my name was attached to it) and sold years earlier was picked up in a drug bust and they were following the ownership trail. I told them I had no problem with them doing that but 11 in the F-ing PM? I asked them what they were thinking. Two plain clothes banging on a door in the middle of the night saying they are the police. I told them that that was a good way to cause a whole mess of trouble for a lot of people. The younger one got all huffy about it but the older one pulled him back and apologized. LEO's are usually decent folks but sometimes can be real dumba$$es.
