  1. In another thread there were comments about matches being “hit factor” as opposed to uspsa. I didn’t want to cause that thread to drift. So, this seems to be a uspsa match with the exception of reporting it, or paying activity fees. Is this a trend? Is a uspsa rule set, or subset, used? Just wondering.
  2. Someone said they were going to “hit factor” matches. How is that different from uspsa? Is is the same thing only not reported to uspsa?
  3. What Cuz just said. Lefty’s trigger finger hits the mag release. Simple. Quick. No grip break, for me anyway. It may be a preference based upon hand size. My hands are small. Large hands may mean a grip break, IDK.
  4. Sorry, that’s a really stupid stage.
  5. This has to be the longest post mortem on record.
  6. I’m one of those dead guys you talk about in this thread. I shoot 40 major in limited. I love it. I can reload 40 for way cheaper than you can buy 9 mm. I have everything invested in 40 major, with no desire to start spending money on a new setup. I find the iron sight game to be far more of a challenge. I routinely beat open, co, and pcc shooters. Not all, but many. I have a lot of fun. Oh, yeah, I’m 71. I really don’t see what all the speculation about my death is about.
  7. What is the competitive advantage gained that would merit a procedural? This is a freestyle stage, and freestyle is clearly defined in the glossary. Non issue I would say.
  8. Having your home address as the Enos location is likely not a good idea.
  9. I do think it was simpler when the default was hands relaxed at sides. If nothing was stated in the wsb, then you knew what was required. I still do just that if there is nothing in the wsb. It’s always the same, muscle memory takes over and I can pay attention to other details.
  10. Very slick, but not the real McCoy. $70 a thousand and a 20% coupon. No credit card payment. Maybe not.
  11. Search for just ginex. Lots of info.
  12. Here is the rule as written. Does anyone know what “the median intercept of the backstop” actually means? I have always understood the rule to be 90 degrees off the centerline of the stage, not the bay the stage is setup in. That is, a stage may need to be setup at an angle within the bay. The 180 would be relative to the stage, not the bay. The definition of the word “median” hardly seems appropriate in this context. Lawyers please proceed. 10.5.2 If at any time during the course of fire, a competitor allows the muzzle of his firearm to point rearwards, that is further than 90 degrees from the median intercept of the backstop, or in the case of no backstop, allows the muzzle to point up range, whether the firearm is loaded or not (limited exceptions:
  13. Ammoseek.com has listings.
  14. Never heard of it, would not tolerate it.
  15. I asked my area director “When will the USPSA membership be provided the full details of the recent President’s removal?” His answer: “That will be determined by legal counsel.“
  16. Maybe YML should run again so we can vote him back in.
  17. I guess I’ll have to stop telling shooters to “Gas ‘em up”.
  18. How is it possible for the hired hand to get rid of the boss. This makes no sense to me.
  19. Shot MG for at least 10 years. Like a lot of others, I have given up.
  20. You guys are very fortunate. In this neck of the woods the consumers far, far outweigh the contributors.
  21. Very small amount of oil to help it slip on easier. If you mean outside, then no.
  22. It was so minor that i don’t even recall. A tight fit, but just about perfect. I had never done it before and I was kinda happy it was so easy.
