MickB
What would be the disadvantage of using a Micro Aimpoint for Tac Limited? Is there a major advantage of the 30mm tubes over the Micro? I also assume that the 2MOA dot would be preferable to 4MOA. I've got a micro that I can use for Tac limited, but am also thinking about the Aimpoint PRO with 2MOA dot. SinistralRifleman
Dot size is the only real disadvantage. Field of view isn't really an issue if you mount it all the way back. Read Erik Lund's "Inside the Ring" article.
DyNo!
The disadvantages I run into when I use them are that the dot is too big, it isn't perfectly round/crisp/sharp, and the tint makes it very difficult to see targets that are small or far.
