PHolsted
What is your go to product to weld/glue plastic? I have a few pieces of kydex I need to bond together and I want to make sure it really bonds and will not come apart. Thanks
Chris Keen
Duro (Super Glue makers) makes a Black Max adhesive which is pretty sweet for stuff like that.

PHolsted
What I'm trying to do is add some height to my Larue Riser cheek adaptor. I have some kydex strips I want to bond to top of it to give it the height I need line up with my eotech and magnifier. I have been using duct tape and cardboard so I thought it was about time to make it permanent.
Dan Sierpina
You might be better off with 3M double sided foam tape. Some plastics don't take well to glues, but, the tape will hold them.
g.willikers
A friend, who is a professional welder, says anything can be welded together except a broken heart. Here's the way he does plastic: It's actually just like gas welding metal. Use a well focused source of heat, hot enough to melt the plastic, with a filler rod of the same plastic. Melt and weld, spreading the material as you go into a solid, smooth surface. It works, too.
