Greetings shooters, have had my M & P a few months now, i really like it. But my eyes are not as young as they used to be, so trying to come up with a solution for a better sight picture. I still have the stock sights on it, i have been browsing the forum here reading all i can from other members. I was wondering about a wider notch on the rear sight, would that help acquire the front sight quicker? Has anyone tried that approach? Thanks in advance for the help. Roger

I like a .100 front sight along with the Dawsom rear sight (not sure of the width of the notch). Having more light on each side of the front post helped me.

Widening the rear would accomplish the same goal.

Dan Burwell makes a nice looking rear sight. I have been thinking of trying one myself!
