Is a Nordic $30 BETTER than a Choate?

I need a +4 tube for my new 3-Gun Shotty...

Choate +4s run about $44.

Nordic Comp +4 runs about $75.

I understand Nordic supports the sport.

I understand Nordic has a nifty grooved base.

I understand Nordic has a removable end-cap that's handier for cleaning, etc.

What else do I get for $30+?

Yes.

Have not seen a Nordic launch a tube downrange with a hilarious "spriong" and the gentle patter-patter of shells bouncing off the ground to the accompanyment of the shooters sulpherous yet casual blasphemies.

Can't say that about the Choate, or this Choate, or the other Choate over there, or...well, I've lost count of how many of those I've seen come unglued.

Pay the extra money, get what you pay for :)

If you are basing your decision strictly on money, then the Nordic "may" not be worth the extra 30.00 dollars to you!!!

cheap whiskey will give you the same end result as expensive whiskey, but the better whiskey is well worth the extra money.

its been said here more than once,..............buy once, cry once!!! cheaper equipment becomes more expensive than buying right the first time.

I believe guns and gear generally conform to rules for race parts for boats/cars. There are three catagories: Fast, Cheap, Reliable. You can have any two that you want, but not all three.

In the case of your Nordic tube, you should be satisfied, they make good stuff.
