benjamin
Looking to get some mods on my XDM 9, of course the big thing is the trigger and probably a new rod... what else would you suggest and looking at the 3 companies below, any feedback on them..... any advice is helpful... http://www.canyoncreekcustom.com/uploads/CC_XD_WO_2010_4_27_10.pdf http://www.springerprecision.com/art/forms/XDworkorderform.pdf http://www.powderriverprecision.com/Work_Order_Form.html
The_Vigilante
All three of them do excellent work. I used Springer Precision because of the short turnaround time!!!
suesstech
Benjamin, All 3 are in the vendor tent within the forum. They'd be able to answer any questions I'm sure: Powder River Precision: http://www.brianenos.com/forums/index.php?showforum=188 Springer Precision: http://www.brianenos.com/forums/index.php?showforum=160 Canyon Creek: http://www.brianenos.com/forums/index.php?showforum=
joedodge
as stated all 3 are great, canyon creek did the trigger on my xd tactical. i also added a lighter recoil spring a tungsten guide rod, extended magazine release, grip tape, and dawson sights its a production class beast. Marv Z
Rich's work at Canyon Creek is the best IMO. And I've had all the other triggers in my guns also. I had Rich take out a Springer kit from my XDM 45 and do one of his instead. Vast improvement. Both PRP and Springer kits are a great DIY install and work very well. busyhawk
I have had great experience with Scott Springer of Springerprecision and why change from a great thing:-) Triggers are great and all other work I have had done like replacement sights and grip texture are first rate. As already said, turn around time is fast! Hope this helps, Scott

dejadoo
Scott at Springer has worked on my XD 9 Service and my XDM 40 - both have been 100% and were quick turn-a-rounds.
