RevolverJockey
I recently picked up a 92F for an occasional range gun. I am looking to pick up a few extra mags, I don't really care if they are Italian or US made Beretta mags, ACT, Mecgar or whoever just wanting a recommendation on who makes reliable 15 round range mags. I am not asking to buy them - when I get a recommendation, I will post in the classifieds or just order some. Thanks in advance. Lee
High Lord Gomer
When I had a 92 I LOVED these mags: http://www.midwayusa.com/viewProduct/default.aspx?productNumber=825087
Call_me_Tom
I use Beretta mags & Mec Gar mags both on duty & for competition. I've never had an issue with either one. I'd stay away from the Magpul & other cheap mags.

dangucci
I have a 96 that I use the mec gar magazines in and they work great.
Crazy Scientist
If you watch the Beretta site, they occasionally have sales. I picked up some 13 rounders for my 96 on the cheap a while back. Nothing like factory mags for $20 bucks a pop.
kevin c
I've used mecgar mags in my Beretta and Taurus pistols without problems. The ones I have (granted, from a few years ago) are very well made.
RevolverJockey
Any thoughts on the Meg-Gar M9/M92 Optimum Magazines? I see they can be ordered from Brownells for $25. Would these make serviceable range mags? Lee
High Lord Gomer
Oops, didn't realize I had posted to this before. Nothing to see here....move along... Edited February 28, 2011 by High Lord Gomer
JOHNNYGLOCK
The MEC-GEAR mags are about the same as mags that say beretta on them. CHECK-MATE mags will be great for range mags, I think Natchezss has them for about $14 you just cant let them get to dirty. whatever you buy do not buy PROmags they are nothing more then paper weights! KyroWebs
When I started shooting USPSA i used a Beretta. Mec Gars were my favorites. You will have no regrets with them
RevolverJockey
I may give them a try. Anything is better than the no mags I have now. Lee
