I'm in my early 60's and I started getting into guns in 2007 although I had been around them all my life. The first year I took beginner to advanced defensive handgun,shotgun and carbine classes at several different instructors in Washington and Oregon. The second year I started competing in USPSA matches - shoot Single Stack. Starting competing in 3 gun competitions in 2009 and that has been my main enjoyment since. Was lucky enough to have competed in the Ironman 3-gun match in Parma,Idaho this June. For 3-gun I shoot a Saiga 12 ga, CZ SP-01 Shadow and a Robinson XCR .223. I heard about and have on occasions searched for information on this forum so I am happy to have finally joined as it looks like this is a great place to be.
