3n38 9major

Picked up 3n38 but cant find any load for 9 major.

Mu gun is 5.0 open with 3 progressive comp port no holes.

anyone data would be great?

Ed, can you stuff enough N38 in a 9X19 case? It normally takes somewhere around 9.5 with a 124 in SC to make major and the SC case is pretty dang full. Great VV powder if you can get it to work, second only to N105 IMHO which I know won't make it in 9X19.

you can get 3n38 to work but the case is very full and makes loading a pain in the ass. 3n37 worked great for me

Unless you're running huge barrel holes, you can make major with both N105 and 3n38. They are a pain to load but they will make major.

Boy the 105 has to be a PITA to load! I have to hold my finger on top of the case or it spills when my 650 rolls to the next station with SC. Cool that it works.

Yup. You have to go very slowly or your sling powder.
