Butch10 Posted August 7, 2010 Share Posted August 7, 2010 Just wanted to shoot a quick intro out. Finally got on the Enos Forum after many many people telling me I should. My names mike, live in Columbus Ga. and I'm starting to get into 3-gun shooting. I've done a lot of long range stuff but figured I would jump into something new and get some more experience. Almost got all my gear put together, minus a shotgun and a few small accessories i.e. belt shot gun shell holsters pistol holster. Any suggestions for the new guy.... Jadeslade Posted August 7, 2010 Share Posted August 7, 2010 (edited) Welcome. You live by the most popular 3 Gun event-The Ft. Benning 3Gun Challenge FB3G. You can use any shotgun to get started and shoot one or 2 events, but if you really start to do this and practice-you will want a Benelli semi auto or pump. Least expensive would be a pump gun with an extended tube-8+1. Depending on pistol-a Blade Tech holster and 3 pouches should do you fine. (9mm is the way to go in 3 gun unless you shoot Heavy Metal-.308, 12ga pump, and .45 cal. Check the forums here on 3 Gun -lots of good info.
