Special Classifier Match

Can anyone tell me how to go about getting a special classifier match and how long it takes?

Mike,

When we did ours, we requested permission through our area Coordinator (there is a form). Once that AC hacks off on it, you send it to USPSA and you are pretty much set.

Sounds like a good plan, Mike. How about 5 field course classifiers?

If you upload the scores, you don't have to send anything in. All you need is approval from the SC. The SC can either fill out the form or simply send in an email approval.

You can email Val at USPSA for clarification but this is what she told me:

"If you upload your scores, we don't need anything to be mailed in. However, I don't see an approval from your SC for the Special; did he sign off on it? Was it faxed in or mailed? He can also approve the Special by emailing me.

FYI, When setting up your special classifier match, remember to select (level 1 Special) on the match type drop down menu on the match information page on USPSA's ezwinscore system. Might help save a ph. call to USPSA.
