I get 24 reloadable with 2 mags and 23 reloadable with 1 mag using the Taylor Freelance basepads and springs.

In 40 cal you pretty much only have one choice. Glock tube and a Taylor Freelance extension. I'm

not aware of anybody else making a 170mm basepad for Glock. You can mess with springs and

followers and MAYBE pick up one more round. Arrendondo makes a thin 40 follower.

Try the guys at SJC (http://www.glockjockey.com/). They take the 33 round 9mm mag and turn it into a 28 9mm mag. They should be able to do the same thing with the 40 mag.

Taylor Freelance makes a very nice 170mm mag ext. Should give you 23 or possibly 24 with a little tweaking.
