pmd
I bought a used 1050 press about a year ago - the previous owner's business was selling reloaded ammo - he estimated that at least 500k bullets were produced on this machine. To date I have had no problems with this machine and have turned out about 7,000 rounds. How many rounds are expected before a complete overhaul? Note that the guy I bought the 1050 from did included a bunch of spare parts. How many rounds does your machine have thru it? Any special methods to maintain it? Thanks! dillon
If properly maintained, a 1050 should go about 3 million rounds before needing significant rebuilding
warpspeed
3 million? @ 50,000 rd per year that would be 60 years!!
Flexmoney
Wow. At a 1,000 rounds a day, 5 days a week...that would be ~11.5 years. Giddyup.

schmitz
When I purchased my Dillon 650 at Drummen Custom Guns (Nuth, Netherlands) they told me that it would last for a lifetime, so I don't expect any overhole in the next 60 years, my age will be a 105 then. Mayonaise
Four gun master Mike Benedict has one of the original 1050's. He said he has loaded about 1M rounds. I think they rolled that press out in '88 or '89.
