DyNo!
I'm going to be shooting a Limited-10 single stack 1911 in USPSA's new Heavy Metal Tactical division. What's the biggest magazine well I can slap on a Kimber Warrior? I am not constrained by single stack rules so it can be bigger than the box. I'll be using these magazines. (Unless someone can tell me where I can find these cheaper ) http://www.cheaperthandirt.com/MAG274-36.html Edited May 6, 2010 by DyNo!
rrflyer
I'd get the big techwell. Should work great with the 10 rounders.

pvhendrix
Check at Jim Joyce Custom website. He makes one in aluminum and offers the same wells in Delrin if added weight is an issue. He makes an enclosed and open front well.
steel1212
I don't know that anybody, other than a custom shop, makes a magwell that doesn't fit the box. I would go with the TechWell XT with G-10 Grips.
Aircooled6racer
Hello: With the McCormick 10 round mags you can use the Dawson "No Gap" magwell and trim the base pads to fit the magwell. It is big enough and fits large hands. Thanks, Eric

mrwhite1
You will have to trim the pad slightly on the McCormick if you used the Dawson mag well. A flat edge file will make short work of it, no biggie
