EkuJustice
Has anyone tried the SVI steel grips yet. They look to come alaredy textured so they wont need the grip tape. Edited March 19, 2010 by EkuJustice

Rolex
I have had one of the new SV Limited guns in all SS. My grip has the pre- fitted grip tape. The grip is as close to the poly grips as possible, in size, so I noticed nothing new there. The grip has been flawless as of this date, shooting the gun for 7 months now. Carmine
I love the SV product line...the problem is....they don't have a "base gun". My advice is if possible "Try before you Buy". Ciao.
Pezco
No problem with my SV stainless grip with the grip tape.
Julien Boit
The new grips comes with different textures and roughness. The micropocket comes in ultra agressive finish, and it sticks in your hand ! Try your hand on some different grips if you can. I have the signature grips with grip tape and I like it a lot.
Carmine
Ok seeing that the STI Aluminum grip isn't all that it's cracked up too be...sorry for the pun... Has anyone tried putting an STI upper asssembly onto the SVI grips??? Best of both worlds...? Just say'n. Ciao.
eric nielsen
L9x25 showed me his "Tanfoglio profile" SV stainless grip with micro-pockets and i have to say it was extremely nice. I think it is this product: Infinity Signature - Infinity Enhanced Ergonomics (IEE)™ found on this page: http://www.sviguns.com/1101.php?indx=
Julien Boit
You're right Eric, this is the Signature grip. The grip feels slimmer and sits better in the hand.

Pezco
My SV IMM Open gun just arrived with the "Evil Bubble" texture and it has a fantastic grip area, highly recommended.
bill d
Again I ask..has anybody put the SV Signature Steel Grip onto an ST upper? I'm thinking about it. Ciao. To answer your question, Yes. If you read that other thread, I was the one with about 8 cracked sti grips. They have done nothing to change it. I now have a SVI SS grip with 15,000 rounds on it and another with a few thousand on it and no problems what so ever. Talk to Brandon at SVI and He'll get you set up. He's very informative and helpful. With all that he's done for me, I might have to think about getting rid of the STI upper.............

Julien Boit
Jason : What frame you have ? SV or STI ? And who fitted the grip ?
Jasonub
Sv old one. Local smith. It was already analyzed by the local dealer..... 2 months or so ago Im not hoping for resolution anymore and its already welded.
Julien Boit
The thing is that if the grip was not installed correctly and according the SV specs, unfortunately there are great chances that any warranty coud not apply. I Installed one on a SPS frame a couple of years ago, following Brandon's guidance and so far, so good.
