  1. Thank you Luv. Looks like it won't be an issue next year! Tell Mr. Tapp I will be there as Mr. Suber has already posted the date for SC Section 2010 and it is not the 5th Weekend! Jack and Linda: Is it too early to volunteer? Woohoo
  2. Ms. Kitty, I think you mean TOM & Julie. (not nice to make fun of Dave. . .) But I can hardly complain, since I pretty much used Julie & Katie's name interchangeably for 4 days I cannot believe no one got a picture of Jack in that cute 'neck cooler' kerchief with the Tiger paws. I plan to compose a note to thank our USPSA & or Mid Carolina volunteers in a day or two. Anytime I think I am tired or feeling burned out, it is the wonderful people like this who revive my interest & enthusiasm for this sport. And THank God they are volunteers, because we could never afford to pay them what they are worth! Linda Chico (L-2035) 2009 SC State Match Statistician I certainly didn't mean to slight TOM....My nail hit the wrong key....
  3. IDK, something about Adverse Possession and Seriously, do you think I can give it back now?!! I'm on my way to C Class. Lots of Love, Lots of Love (JK)
  4. Woohoo! What a great weekend. Glad everyone brought enough “Cow-Bell” to get through the heat and humidity. A HUGE thank you to Jack, Linda, Donnie, Tim and Julie for are the long, hard hours of endless dedication to make this match happen. And to the MCRC volunteers, to say Thank You is not enough. Stage 8: Thank you for making my morning! Hey Katie, “Roller Coaster!” Dave, it was great seeing you again. Please come play more often. You are miss. Oh, and Dave, my name is not “Linda!” Stage 2: Banks and Jim designed this stage and I was grateful I was afforded the opportunity to work with them. To the volunteers on this Stage, THANK YOU. You never once complained of the heat or of being tired and managed to smile through it all. I hope you come and join us at a local match and catch the “bug.” Stage 6: Jack, I don't forget Son of Nemo: Thank you for making my bracelet. You ROCK. High Power Shooters in the “Cooler” Cart-thank you-not only for the endless supply of water and Gatorade, but for the ample supply of SPF. The “After Party,” as usual, was not to be missed. It was great seeing old friends and making new ones. Until next year- WOOOHOOO!
  5. FYI: Sent out all messages yesterday...Several responded before I even hit the send button!! So far only one e-mail bounced and that has resolved. If you haven't responded please do so.
  6. Kent, You are right....Those "Clempsun" fans are pathetic...... Whatever, I see who HAS to wear orange!
  7. Some of us "old guys" may have a heart condition. you could send someone to the hospital with a comment like that. Only the one's who have met her . . . +2 Easy boys! she often doesn't realize what she says may have more than one meaning, she's taken and has her own international security detachment. They get together to practice every year right before the match just for this reason Boy, am I confused. I thought that was an International Drinking Association and GrandMaster Level Practical Joke convention that was held in AL right before the Ft. Benning match. I am certain Ms. Kitty will be as surprised as I am to hear that it is about protecting her. Linda Chico (L-2035) 2009 Ft Benning 3 Gun Statistician I don't think she will be suprised at all, She knows it's all about her, no matter what the event. The other stuff is just a smoke screen for the real purpose. It takes a lot of coordination to bring in the best in the business from around the world, or at least a stocked bar, though it doesn't stay stocked very long. It could be considered as some type of stimulus package, as lots of bullets, booze and food are purchased and recycled during the event. I already have confirmation that our own "Bond 007" would be back this year if you allow him- he says he has chocolate!!!!!!!!!
  8. OK...so Mr. Suber was given a "buy" for all contingency matches-he doesn't have to wear the shirt...However, we went to Area 6 and Jack took some good-hearted chiding from some of his fellow shooters and true to his word, he wore the beautiful orange shirt! So off to AL Section we go...Stage 1 was absolutely wonderful....we giggled at the bright orange sand bags with "sayings" on them! Thank you Match Director for giving us a great laugh...you all did a great job
  9. OK...So I am new to the "reloading world" or at least reloading myself. This past January I went to the Shot Show and came across Redding Precission. Redding was show-casing their new product, the G-RX Push Thru Base Sizing Die. Jay Davis, the gentleman putting on the presentation, was very patient and answered my questions, silly as they sounded to him. I was impressed with the little contraption and decided I needed one to assist me with my reloading as some of the brass I have acquired has that famous "Buldge" as the base of the case! I was politley informed the prototype he had at the show wasn't for sale. Upon returning home, I called Jay Davis to see how I would go about ordering one. He said he would e-mail me in a few weeks when they were coming off the assembly line. True to his word, he e-mailed me. I put in my order and presto, I received my G-Rx Push Thru Base Sizing Die and my single stage press. I called him to thank him for his kindness only to be told that if I had ANY issues setting it up, using it, reloading questions, etc. to call him and he would be happy to assist me with my reloading needs. He was extremely kind and patient with me. Again, being new to the reloading world, I know some of my questions may have appeared to be "silly" to him but he explained things to me in terms I understood and without being condescending. All this to say, I was impressed with his customer service. l look forward to working with him in the future regarding my reloading needs. Thank you Mr. Davis
  10. ahhh the memories....dancing on the back of the boat at 96 Wavefest...Hold My Hand being the anthem that summer....I agree, great CD... BTW: He will be at the House of Blue in Myrtle Beach May 30....
  11. "and tick infestations!" Will Brad Paisley bet there Can't wait to see everyone Hey Ms. Kitty - Michael & I are planning on being there. Glad to see there are other girly girls there. Can't wait to see all the cute girls! Perhaps a social hour will be appropriate!
  12. "and tick infestations!" Will Brad Paisley bet there Can't wait to see everyone
  13. Come back and play with us again! We always have fun and love meeting people BTW: MCRC also has a great match the 2nd Sat. of each month
  14. Hmmm. . . Posted a note on another thread, but it bears repeating here: Some us have better sense than to make bets that involve events we cannot control. You will recall that my bets with you are all about how quickly I will get something done, or other events I can influence. I know better than to bet on the vagaries of a college sports team. And in any battle with Ms Kitty, you are at a serious disadvantage. The woman is delightfully devious! She makes me proud. Linda Chico (L-2035) Columbia SC Linda: Learning from the best! Keep teaching and I will be your sponge
  15. I will have to say that I did go to the store to find/buy Clemson Shoe Strings and the cute little headband ears for to be worn, but lucky for Jack and John, they were out! The real question is, for those matches I don't make, do they really wear the shirts? For instance, I wasn't at last month's Steel Challenge. Was the great Tiger Team present?! However, please keep in mind, John is spanking people when he wears this shirt. Perhaps his mother is correct, this could be the school for him
  16. It was wonderful meeting you and glad you could make it. Hopefully the "Ms. Hepworth" wasn't too upset that you stayed a little later than expected! Congrats on your win and look forward to seeing you at the State Match. next year!
  17. Depends on who is wearing the shirt But for you John, I'll always reserve a hug. I was so TICKLED Jack actually wore the shirt that I dropped my gun bag in total surprise. And here I was worried that a USC fan (a/k/a Univeristy of Silly Chickens) wouldn't go through with his end of the bet...Nothing but luv for my friend JS!
  18. Quid Pro Quo…What are WE offering? (Mustn’t leave John out!) I now have a black eye with the baseball team comment. Can you say, “Poke?!” You added insult to injury with your "offensive” remark. Speaking of Offensive, where was Carolina’s? As for the embroidery, I know where I can have it done, so that really isn't an issue. I just need the jpeg for the Tajima BTW: Is baseball really considered a sport? (Hold off guys...just trying to get my "digs" in where I can! ) The BET was for football, not baseball. So, it's hard to "see" cutting a break with your fingers in my eyes. However, I am open for suggestions/offers in lieu of wearing the glorious Clemson Shirt during STI Contingency Matches. Are you thinking cute little Clemson shoe strings in your cleats and a matching Clemson hat? How about a pair of the cute little preppie shorts with the Clemson Tiger Paws all over them? http://penningtonandbailes.myshopify.com/c...-university-men If you don’t want to pay for shipping, M. Dumas & Sons on King St. has your sizes. I sit hear giggling at the visual, “Are you ready” and instead of the affirmative head-nod or “shooter is ready,” hearing a resounding “Roarrrrrr, I’m a TIGER!” to let the RO know you are ready for the command, “Stand By!” I have been told by someone who wishes to remain anonymous, "You ought to throw yourself on your sword and offer up 3yrs to buy out your son's debt."
  19. So what if I don't wear underwear? boy did this just take an ugly turn!! think I just threw up a little Don't you room with him? Shouldn't you be scared?
  20. Ok, I have received two requests to join Mafia Wars...What exactly is it?
