  1. Just a bit of info: If anybody has a broken Optima sight (the little sight now carried by JP as the JPoint) and it is broken (likely) I have some repair info. http://www.abousainc.com The company above took over all of Tasco warranty work and for 20-30$ bucks flat rate they will repair or replace your sight and ship it back to you. It took me about 8 weeks to get mine back but they were real nice to deal with and saved me form tossing 150 bucks. They also cover redfield scopes. Anyway, I hope this helped somebody. GIO
  2. Kinda off topic. But a Just bought a Weaver classic 1X3 from SWFA and it is awesome. true 1 power 89' field of view and good quality. it is more $ then the diamond, i paid 150 but i think it is worth it. Gio

    Leading the target

I have found; if your watching lead your eye is off the bird and if your off the bird you are going to miss. It is almost the opposite of pistol shooting, you shouldn't remember much about where the gun was or if your beads were lined up. My best shooting has been done when i acted as though there was no gun and i was blasting those birds with sheer instinct. Skeet is more controlled but it makes for a long day of Sporting clays if you think about the shots too much. Just my two cents....
  4. I cleared out my house one time with break cleaner...my wife thought it was some type of bio-terrorist attack, will not be doing that again. I really like "dunk-it" from CS in Nebraska. http://www.cylinder-slide.com/ I got a few commercial giant coffee filters, bungied them over the top of an extra pale and filter it once a month. I think it works great. it may seem pricey but that whole divorce thing seems like a big hassle. Gio
  5. Thanks Guys, I really miss having a regular club and look forward to checking out Topton. Hope to see you out there, my name is Jason and I shoot a Valtro Lim10. I shoot C-class so all you M's and GM's are safe....
  6. I have recently moved to chester county, PA from Kansas. I was an active USPSA shooter as well as Pin shooting, 3-gun and sporting clays. I hear Topton has a great set up and was hoping to get to know someone that shoots there. I would like to be sponsored to join at some point and would welcome any comments. Thank you
  7. What about "Jaws", no rainy sunday afternoon would be complete without that one. For a real test of manhood try getting through "Rudy" or "Brian's Song" without a sniffle or for that matter a good episode of little house on the prairie....man I am sharing way too much here
  8. This is my first post...anyway a little running isn't bad if it is a test of agility and focus but in my opinion it shouldn't define a COF. What concerns me is the use of unsafe props (old car bodies, swinging bridges, etc) the props in themselves may be fine but how they are set up and the COF sometimes scares me. A recent match I attended had us drawing (most of us wearing speed type holsters) inside half of a cut up 74 toyota pick up, firing through the window, pushing open the rusted door and ending with a load of steel cluttered with no shoots. Not wanting to spring a leak in my leg or other vital area I passed on this part of the match. Everyone else completed it without any accidents and maybe I'm paranoid but it just didn't feel right. Am I alone on this?
