  1. I don't think I can get a load together for the Area 3 so I am wondering if 115gr White Box makes Minor for production. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Jason
  2. New gear may or may not make you a better shooter. I'm sure any of the pro's could make most gear sing. Some of the fun of our sport/hobby is in the gear alone so if you can afford it, get what you want and give it a go. Most of us have tried, sold, re-bought a good deal of equipment and are still tinkering. Have fun with it and understand you may never find the "perfect set-up" my .02
  3. Starting off in 3gun and was wondering which 12 gauge loads to bring to a match. Any help would be appreciated.
  4. Not to turn this political but....get out and vote, join the NRA and be vocal or we all might be figuring out how to be competitive in the new Airsoft competitions.
  5. Thanks Shawn. I see your from NE. Are you shooting Area 3 at ENGC? GIO
  6. I bought the stingray set up and ended up swithing to the Tek-LOk and cutting away the SR loops. With mag pouches the Stingray loops don't allow them to but up against each other and if you wear three doubles (I'm not great on texas stars) it takes up way too much room. One tip on the holster. I put pieces of skid tape on both sides of the tek-loks where they sandwich the belt then I electrical taped in the u-shaped loking tab thing in place. This made it nice and secure. On my cr speed belt the holster moved around before I did this. Best of luck
  7. I decided to switch to production and a picked up a nice 5inch Custom Shop XD 9MM. I have the Area 3 at the end of July and need to get a load together. I don't think I will have access to a chrono before the match so I need some forum asistance. I think I am going with 124's from precision Bullets and I have a bunch of Universal Clays and regular Clays from my .45 days. I would like to use these but I will buy new powder if need be. Can someone give me a load that will make minor. I am not looking for a poof load I just want to make the mark on gameday. Thanks in advance! GIO
  8. Are there any good Mag pouches for an xd9 that have Tek Loc and don't cost $50 per double. I plan on carrying 6 mags (I'm not great on steel) and i would hate to tie up 150 in pouches. Any help would be appreciated, GIO
  9. Best of luck with your new piece. Glad to see a big company responding to demand driven by the shooting sports.
  10. Two options http://www.blade-tech.com/Triple-Hip-Pouch-pr-973.html 3gun gear also has a rig for two mags on a drop down pouch. See the Dillon site and search 3gun gear GIO
  11. Thanks everyone...always looking for a reason to use my Dremel
  12. Does anyone know if regular items like Blade-tech pouches with the belt loop fit on cr speed belts. I always had the clamp on stuff and i am switching to production. The slots on the belt loop stuff look kinda narrow and the CR is a pretty thick belt. Does it work? GIO
  13. Thanks everyone and sorry for the division/class mix up. I though it looked a bit goofy but I am setting up my rig for Production and needed some input. Thanks again

  20. I am just starting out reloading 223. I have a single stage rock Chucker, RCBS powred measure, etc. I am loading for a JP15 with a 18inch 1/8 barrel. Can someone tell me which dies i need and recomend a brand. Do I need a special sizing die? Any related tips would be much appreciated! Thanks in advance, GIO
  21. Thanks Gentlemen, I picked up a case of rabbits and those plastic holders on my way to the range today and all went well. I threw a feww on each berm out to 300yrds and blasted away. Great cheap reactive targets!
  22. Does anyone know if a .223 will break a clay target or just punch a hole in it. I am thinking about a 3gun stage using clays at 100 yards. Any advice would be helpful, GIO
