  1. lol Not for the weak. Easy to start getting personal.. It's not in my control to clubs canceling matches due to weather conditions. Like I said, I am from Ohio. I shot in rain and snow.
  2. I am from Ohio. Weather is absolute garbage in Ohio. I literally made the decision to leave Ohio on the day when I was on the way to a match, I received a notification that the match was canceled due to rain. I am certain Ohio is not the right place for nats. It would be a disaster.
  3. haha! I promise I'm doing my best to stay unbiased
  4. I'm not at all opposed to traveling. If you would go back to my original post, I make it very clear that the nationals location should be selected with shooters in mind. I don't know what kind of exchanges happen between the organization and clubs. I'd assume there is some money exchange going on since hosting a match brings in money. Making the match happen is one thing but shooters are the ones spending thousands. Shooters should have a voice in where nationals should be.
  5. why shoot a Nationals if you don't care to travel? I'm confused between being able to shoot and being able to travel. Those who are able to shoot should be able to travel...? If traveling to Nationals is too much for one's schedule, he should stick to area matches. No one should show up to nationals without dedicating large amounts of time and effort invested in training.
  6. I've shot the local and major there a few times since the upgrade. It's undoubtedly the best range and the highest capacity I've seen to date. Once in a while they flood but other than that, nothing compares to this range. And again, this is exactly what I'm saying. Cheap and available airfare and stays should take precedence because shooters 85% of major match expense go to just that. I personally disagree with moving it around. I think USPSA should designate a range and keep it there for consistency's sake. I'm pretty sure people shooting nationals won't mind traveling... Vegas should theoretically be THE SPOT for nats or any major events. The Desert sportsman range by red rock really crippled themselves over the last few years. I should get in touch with them...
  7. Hotels around Talladega are ok. But as mentioned previously, the range doesn't have enough bays for majors like nats.
  8. Looks like the winner is St. George. I personally did not vote for St. George but I think it certainly is one of the best ranges out there and one of few that can host 22+ stage matches. Biggest advantage is that the city is capable of handling high influx of people. This is something that Talladega and Frostproof lack...
  9. Seen this happen mid match to someone. Mofos slam mags like it's the end of the world. the basepads are not supposed to stop this from happening. The mag catch is. If you watch the mag inserted slowly with slide locked, the mag gets very very close to the ejector, and sometimes touch the ejector. Sig P320 is far from perfect. It has very many issues. Accuracy is one of them.
  10. modifying the one I have is the shortcut but I'm compromising the finish... STI DVC blackout is all black so it's going to be difficult to make it look nice with partially shiny beavertail. Sigh...
  11. I usually put a dummy round with eraser inside the primer pocket during dry fire but I guess that’s not really doing anything to absorb the impact then.
  12. Yeah I really like the idea of the postal match and Id shoot it in a heartbeat if my local club hosted it. but stages will inevitably have variations and inconsistencies that make it difficult for the scores to be legit.
  13. Striker reset spring wise, no. In fact all of the springs I have are factory. That’s a good question… I never count those so I’m not sure but it’s definitely there
  14. I own three Sig P320s. I shoot 20-30k a year. I shoot 132pf 147gr bullets. These springs always fail on me so it's a design flaw.
  15. hahaha! I can't disagree with that! Like IPSC World Shoot in Thailand?
  16. The striker reset spring breaks every 1000 rounds. So I don't even know why they are even there. Worst part is, you can't even find them online without diving into it.
  17. Would be nice to know what everyone thinks on this. I've listed several previous national match locations. Please consider with numerous factors in mind: Weather Airport and flight availability Vehicle rental availability Hotel availability State law Overall travel expense cost Range capacity Aside from law, I personally think #1-4 should take precedence when determining the match location. In the end, we pay thousands to travel per match. In other words, typically 85% of the money spent on a major match goes to travel expenses. Match location should be economical and financially friendly...

    Kkm or barsto

    KKM all the way
  19. Ok, I'd then like to clarify that I'm speaking for Federal primers only. I know for sure Federal primers have same cups
  20. Magnum primer being thicker cup is a misinformation. Cup thickness is the same, explodes hotter which helps burn more powder. It also increases muzzle velocity slightly. I've noticed 10-20FPS bump in pistol, 9mm
  21. Picked up a sti 2011. The beavertail grip safety where it cradles cocked hammer is a bit too long for me. It interferes with my draw. Are there any shorter versions I can pick up?
  22. play with primer seat depth first. I also never heard of P320 needing extra power striker spring

    X5 Legion accuracy

I meant the pics of FCU not shot groups. I think others want to see the same. It'd be nice if you had two Sigs with one pressed and one intact.

    X5 Legion accuracy

do you have any pictures you could show that shows comparison between factory and the vice pressed fcu?@tt350z

    X5 Legion accuracy

Have not tried 124gr. I think I was getting about half inch to an inch spread at 15 yards with plated. Spread was noticeably larger with coated. I still shoot coated at major matches and get good hits so it's tolerable accuracy but I certainly would like to have better accuracy I will test again this weekend with more repeatable setup with pictures so it's in record.
