I loaded lazer cast 147's with 5.7grs Alliant power pistol out to 1.180 in my para with briley two port comp they chronoed at 1130 the data from alliant had them out of a four inch gun at 1095 with a min OAL of 1.140 gun ran smooth as butter.

Thanks, I think I have a 10 but the rounds come off the mag like butter. I was more worryed about the slide coming back hard maybe hurting the frame. I also use a shock buff is this a very high perssure load it is listed as 34000 out of a 4 inch gun

This maybe a dumb question, but, are yuou guys talking about making major with 9mm and 115/124 grain bullets. I just started shooting open have a para/caspian with briley two port comp I am using 5.7 alliaint power pistol and 147 fmj at 1.180 aol 1125 fps would like to use lighter bullets clue me in please.Thanks

I am not a rocket scientist so I need to know or try and understand, IPSC power factors. A 115 going 1300 has 431 pounds energy but don't make major. A 147 going 1125 makes major but only has 413 pounds of energy. I have only shot about 400 rounds though this little pistol it is a para p18 milled caspian slide that is cut for the Jpoint. it is dead on and I must say faster then I am,but I am working on that.

Not only does it look good the Jpoint is very fast, very fast
