  1. I made a pit stop by the bowling store and picked up a rosin bag, at under 2 dollars couldnt be cheaper to use. As I recall it worked very good at helping grip ect when I used to bowl when I was kid. Ill see how it works come this thursday?
  2. I knew that this a beat to death ?, but just wanting to find someone that shoots both brands to shed some insight on it for me? thanks for the help...
  3. So I am a limited shooter who truly believes in my Glocks and ive beaten STI guns before. I also believe that a shooter makes his or her blaster go not the other way around. I for some reason have taken a interest into Edge here lately, and I cant figure out why either? Me being so very Glock is the way to go! Im wondering if any of you own both a Glock and STI for limited duty, and if you feel that one or the other is any better suited for the job? I guess what Im affraid of most is if I buy an STI my 35 will become a dust collector? maybe ive posted this for nothing and its just more or less what you like to run and our more comfortable with and nothing more....
  4. Thanks for the help! Now to decide what to try out?
  5. Starting to warm up in AZ and the hands are getting a bit sweaty before the buzzer. Ive been looking at pro grip to fix the problem. Anyone tried pro grip and if so did it work as stated? My other ? is or does pro grip leave any type of residue on your grips after using it?
  6. I 2nd that, their springs feel the smoothest forsure. They dont last as long as flat wires Ive noticed though? The 14 lb. Wolff springs seem to last forever in my production blasters -- certainly longer than the 13 lb. ISMI springs did. That may have more to do though with the 13s being marginal for the gun/load and the 14s being closer to appropriate..... I'm running stock recoil springs in my Limited (major pf) Glocks.... I change my springs out every 4k or so. I run the standard 17 pound springs in my limited guns. Ive never had an issue with a older spring but I have noticed when pulling the slide back an inch or so and letting slide lock back up seems like they loose some tension over time?
  7. They had a bad run of U dies some time back, not sure if they fixed the problem yet? I went through 3 of them that were not machined right? Dont bother with it the Dillon sizer works more than great and all I shoot is Glocks and rds always case gauge with out a problem.
  8. Welcome aboard! The 550 is a great machine, and offers a large selection of rifle conversions to.
  9. Welcome, a great forum to be a part of here, and if you cant find an answer in here it doesn't exist! LoL
  10. I 2nd that, their springs feel the smoothest forsure. They dont last as long as flat wires Ive noticed though?
  11. So i decided to play around with my Oal, and went with 3.2grs of TG? My end results had me dropping my Oal from 1.135 down to 1.120. This little change seemed to work very nice in my G17. Now that I have good starting point I can really start to play around with it to see what my 17 really shoots well? Thanks for the help....
  12. So i ended up just going with a brand I know makes good stuff. I ordered a Surefire E2D LED Defender and got it for a real good deal through Lowes with my employee discount. 89 bucks plus tax for that price a couldnt turn this light down.
  13. So ive messed around with 3.2 & 3.3 grs of TG, and with OAL of 1.135 and seems as if maybe my OAL is a bit to long? My 17 dosent seem to shot really accurate with these loads? Maybe its just me not sure? Ive done a bit of topic searching and seems maybe 1.120 to 1.125 maybe a better OAL for my reloads, and also what is the better load of TG 3.2 or 3.3 grs under 147gr bullet? Whats worked for you guys in your 17's? Thanks alittle confused here, WWNAZ...
  14. Checking into a nice flashlight but I dont want to spend a lot on one? We carry Coast at work, but know one has first hand knowledge on them? Seems like a very nice bright lite and has a life time warrenty. Im looking at the T7 model it has the features that work for my needs and the price isnt bad either. ANy advice on if Coast is a good brand would be helpful. Thanks....
  15. Dawson has some very nice sights thats forsure
  16. Looks slick, nice to see something other than hard chrome....
  17. This post caught my attention because ive got an SJC built 35. Never heard of this issue or have i had this issue come up with mine or others ive talked with that have SJC guns? Ive got the reduced weight springs and such in my blaster and also i used fed primers with out any problems. Ive talked with John many times in the past with tons of questions? Thy have always gave me sound advice... Id call John again and see what they now suggest since you changed out the primers and the problem is still happening?
  18. I agree, just hate having to buy the whole mag just for body. I run +5's on um so ive got a bunch of stock springs and floor plates in a bag. LoL
  19. The mags still function great, but im changing the bodies out because they tend to get beat up from dropping in the dirt at the matchs during reloads. A stuck mag can make the diff in winning or losing that stage when being timed. Thanks for the heads up on what company has factory mags for decent price... Ill stay with the Glock stuff forsure! Is CDNN a good company to buy from, no nightmare stories about them? So i checked the site out good price, anyone used the 4th gen mags in 3rd gens glocks, and any problems with them not working correctly?
  20. Im in need of replacing my mag bodies for my G35. I would like to find someone that sells just the bodies? Doubt you can buy them like that though? So i was wondering who might have the best deal on new factory mag? Thanks for the help!

  24. After a 6 wk wait I got my G17 back from Robar! I had them do the NP3 coating, and put the serrations out front. Im happy with it, now I need to get it sent in to SJC for the some trigger work and a grip job and my new G17 will done.
