  1. The dies are just touching the shell plate so Im pretty sure they are fine? If I get this barrel maybe Ill try reajusting them abit if I have issues with them not feeding? I load at 1.135 now, damn to tell you the truth Im not sure if this barrel is worth the trouble? I may just have SJC do the trigger, and grip job and call it good! I fell the stock barrel is more accurate then I will ever be and I have no feed issues with it. But you know the American way do it bigger and better in one shot!!!!
  2. I went out and checked my Lee die box and I do have the FCD with carbide in it. The deluxe 4 die set has the FCD included. So I got all the stuff that suppose rid the bulge completely? So why do I still get some that have the bugle in it? IM sure my stuff is set up right my dads friend thats been loading for years even came by to check my set up out? He said it was fine so who knows, Im mean all the reloads that come off my press run fine now. So Im guessing I shouldnt have any issues with KKM barrel?
  3. So Im guessing that this die is an upgrade other than the one that comes in the 4 die set lee sells for the 40S&W? Another member also told me that about the this die. Thanks I will look into it.
  4. FCD die is that something other than the Lee crimp die have not heard of that? I only get 2-5 or so rounds that dont get the bulge out, And from what I hear case gauges are way tighter in tolerances than any chamber?
  5. I own a Ghost, if you like the open design and can spend abit more on your holster get the Ghost. You wont be displeased. Just my 2 cents!
  6. I have EGW die right now, I get 2 to 5 rounds out of 100 that dont case gauge but work fine in my barrel. To hell with the case gauge then! Im still not sure If Im going to do the barrel/slide tight yet? From the people Ive talked to that had it done and have shot SJC's guns say they as just smooth and accurate as any limited/Open gun that STI got. Ive always wanted I way tricked out Glock though?
  7. Well what this really comes down to for me is Im going to still have some reloads that still have the bugle in the case? What can you do but the main reason I started this thread is because I was wondering if people had issues with reloads and tighter chamber of the KKM barrel and it dosent seem to be any issue. I will just have to use my barrel as my gauge. Im sending my gun into SJC tomarrow and was debating on having a KKM barrel fitted and along with having the slide tighened among other upgrades. I should just do everything in one shot and quit being a cheap A$$, then I will have one really nice gun when all is said and done. Thanks for all the feed back on the KKM barrel not having feed issues with glocked brass. Makes me feel better about getting the barrel, I was just concerned It would make my reloading abit of pain if it wouldnt take the Glocked brass.
  8. Im just wondering from everyone that use's the EGW die do you still get some reloads that dont case gauge or should I say dosent get rid of the bulge? I suppose if I or anyone goes with KKM barrel they can choose to buy rolled sized brass. From what Ive heard case bulge isnt issue anymore? Just a thought.

    +2 on Arredondo's mag exts!
  10. I also use the EGW die personally I dont think it does any better job than the standard Lee sizing die does. I still get 3 to 5 rounds out of 100 that dont pass factory sizing gauge. Although they still run through the gun with out any issues. I decided to pass on the KKM barrel it dosent seem to be worth worring about if my Glocked brass wont pass through it! My stock barrel loves that stuff and with eat out the same hole at 10yds if Im on at the range that day! I think that 165 or so dollars will be better spent on another 1000 of zero bullets.
  11. Tyring to decide if I want to go with an KKM barrel? I reload so it would be nice to shoot lead because its cheaper, and it would give my G35 a cleaner look. My ? is we all know about Glocked brass but the stock barrel on mine will take and function great with the stuff that barely dosent fit my case gauge. I know the KKM chamber is tighter than the OEM barrel but is it that much tighter that I will run into my reloads that dont pass case gauge inspection wont work with that barrel as they do in my stock barrel? Thanks for the help.
  12. His gun had no mods except sights, he got his 34 today we shall see how he does with it tomarrow night?
  13. Ok my friend got a XD a year ago and has ranted about hom much nicer his XD was than my Glock oh you would need boots if I keep going about everthing he said about the Glock. Anyway he shoots USPSA with me all the time and at are local club they give pins out if you win your division on thursday nights. He wasnt able to ever get the win with his gun so I recently bought a 35 which he some what liked wow. He asked if he could use it this last thursday I said sure. Holy Hell he not only shoot the best ever but won his division with my 35. Boy oh boy did I give him a ear full of shit! He than began to tell me hom much nicer my Glock handled than his XD. Needless to say he is picking up a 34 this week! I cant believe it after everthing he said about the Glock and that he would never buy one he's getting one! I just thought this was funny and you fellow Glockers would get a kick out of this little story.
  14. My Dawson's are a tad bit to the right also! When the gunsmith installed them the whole rear sight was abit over to the right, but the gun was right on! Being a picky person I tapped them over to center them. Which caused the gun to shoot to the left and after resighting it in the sight it adjusted over to the right. All that effort to make them look centered was for nothing.
  15. Heres a pic of my 35. Stacking the mags makes it standup so much better thanks Tim for the idea!
  16. I didnt even think about using teflon tape that might just be the best bet!
  17. Im able to eat holes out of my targets from a rest with my 40S&W stuff that I load on my 550.
  18. My SJC magwell works the same way no screw. CAn you find some shimstock to try and slide in their with it to tighten it up abit?
  19. Was that the only time he did that finish or can he do it again? The extra shine really looks nice wouldnt mind having that finish on my slide?
  20. Is that a hard chromed finish? I like that alot very nice blaster jros3e!
  21. Has anyone seen that happening to the Wolff rod and spring set up?
  22. I got a set of Meps on my 23 as stated above work great a close target range but suffer at longer range. My bud has Dawson adj on his 4in Xd and carries it with out problems? To much sight for me to carry concealed though IMO. If you really end up getting into this comp shooting youll find that its easier to just have a gun for it only.
  23. I would stick with factory rated 17lbs because using lighter springs gives the idea of the sights coming down quicker. But it beats your gun up more cause the slide slames into the rail ect much harder. I also reload so I can make light recoil loads that shoot wonderful so thats a nother reason I run the stock rate spring. Just something to think about?
  24. It was the Glockmiester brand very displeased with his recoil rods! Do your self a favor and get the non captive one, I went to replace the spring the screw that holds it in dosent come out very easy on the captive rods. Hell the ends that sets in the barrel came loose and I still didnt get the screw loose! The non captive is abit of a hassel to get in at 1st but once you get the hang of it just as easy as the captive one IMO. I have returned FOUR of his recoil rods all defective thats why I went to a diff companys recoil rods.
  25. Hey Rocket, I got my S&J magwell yesterday fit and finish are very nice. looking forward to trying it this week? Boy it changes your grip abit but Ive never used a magwell before nothing that will mess me up though!
