I have a few questions .I was wondering if anyone had stippled a red sti grip ? If so how was it done and does anyone have some pics of a red stippled grip ? Will it discolor the grip ? Thanks JP
Well I just droped one in my G35 . It's fit and finish = very nice . I ran 300 rounds through it without a single problem (other than it shoots better than me but whats new ).IMO For the money it can't be beat on performance and looks .
I am wanting to get a kkm barrel and wanted a little advice on which one I need . From doing a search most just say kkm barrel . So my question is do i need to get the gunsmith fit and have it fit or just get the drop in ? My reasons for the purchase is because I am going to star shooting alot of lead ( I know you can run it in the stock one) and want a little more chamber support . Thanks JP
Truth be told, I have yet to contact Glock about obtaining a replacement frame, although many a reputable source has indicated to me that Glock no longer sells frames.
Just had Glock replace a frame on a g22 that i cut down to a g23 . Since it was my bad they charged me $150+tax which did include S&H ,all new parts in the upper and lower , a new barrel for some reason and a 3rd gen frame for my 2nd gen beater . It only took two weeks and it was back home . JP
I am in the market for a 9mm AR and had a few questions . First off who makes the best ? Second what mags can I use ? It will just be for plinking and indoor ranges . Thanks
For what will you be reloading for. Different games require different ammo.
A little bit of paper out to 300 yards and a little bit of deer out to about the same maybe a little less .
I just picked up a savage mod. 10 le1 in .308 which has a 20'' barrel . I need some load data on .308 (powder , primers , bullets , oal , etc ) for this rifle . I will be loading on a 550 with RCBS dies . Thanks , JP
Hey Jasmap , I have a cr speed set up for a tanfo if you wan to trade it out for a stock one . It will just be the holster no hanger or barrel platform. Thanks , JP
mag pouches = cr speed
holster = ghost works good
You may use a cr speed for a 1911 but it needs to be modified by lowering the latch in the holster body .
Yes, you can shoot WWB in your S&JC Open Glock. I would spray the comp with PAM for grilling before doing so. This will make cleaning the comp that much easier. Whether you need to change springs depends on your shooting platform. With my wife we had to but she is 5’6” & 125 lbs. I’m about 6’ & 245 lbs. & I use the same spring for both.
Thanks for the info on the pam deal . Do you know what brand and weight spring SJC use in there open guns ?
Both are Great Smiths, but I went with a S&J Custom for both my Limited & Open Glocks.
(2 of each) I liked the fact that my slide wasn't cutup & I could return it back to stock if I so desired. I also likes the way the C-More is mounted on the S&J model a lot better.
Besides an S&J gun is the ONLY Open GLOCK to ever win a world title. Nuff SAID!

Hey TruStreet ,
Can you shoot WWB 9mm in your open SJC glock ? If so do you need to change recoil springs for major and minor ? Thanks
