  1. I didn't know that was somthing you...?Tryed? The words are "something" and "tried." First taste is free! Don't try Open unless you are ready to spend a lot and smile a lot! Besides, I'm into cheese now. That is the truth. A local new shooter shot on my squad one day and wanted to shoot my open gun after we finished the last stage. A 6 round classifier. Then his daughter shot 6 rounds. The next week he ordered two Brazos custom open guns and a Dillon 650. That was the most expensive 6 rounds I have ever seen.
  2. Charmed on TNT HD is a new favorite of mine.
  3. + whatever we are up to on the speed issue. But also to help make me a better limited shooter. I had stalled in limited and after shooting open for 07 I have shot 2 A class classifiers and one master class classifier in limited just playing some the last two months. If you have stalled and find the game is not quite as fun as it was make the change.
  4. Sv, Not that I know from first had knowledge or anything, but I've heard you can
  5. I was also. Then my wife went with me to compare the pictures and she said as we left that it had to be a 50 inch plasma. Man, She is the best.
  6. Man I've been waiting since December for that first game. Only down side was the Braves didn't win
  7. Jack, Dillon will sell you a new motor. I had to replace one just as old as yours just over a year ago. Only mine completely died.
  8. OK, I found a pistol that will feed anything. Not a single failure to feed or extract through 2 boxes of the cheep 550 round value packs from walmart. But it does not always go bang. CCI mini mags were better, but still not great. What else is working for you?
  9. I love this. It gives a new meaning to the term peep show.
  10. I feel your pain here also. Ask them to not put the food out until the stages are torn down.
  11. I guess I can't vote, but I use n320
  12. I went out to check last night. I left my living room at 7pm with 10 loaded primer tubes, filled the powder, put brass in the case feeder, opened a case of bullets then started cranking out 9mm major on a 1050 with no bullet feeder. At 7:45 I sat back in my chair to case gauge 1000 rounds. I'm set for two months now. Next week I'll do that for my steel load for limited.

Nemo, like you should have like come up to the steel match instead.
  14. Which grips? I have one I'd like to get down to IDPA weight.
  15. Wouldn't that go against the not publishing the HHF rule that they have?
  16. Let's see: No a Glock slide will not fit on an M&P frame, it goes about half way then things don't match up. I'm not sure about a 9mm barrel working in a 40 slide. It fits, but I don't know about working.

Cool, keep us posted Jack. I wondered if the whole family would be out sick today I got the kids one for Christmas and now it's time for me to get some games I like for it.
  18. Last weeks top 20 countdown had a blurb about his manager telling him he thought he could only write a certain type of song, so Kid Rock set out to prove him wrong. I only like some of his stuff, and this is one of them.
  19. Last week I was told it would be another week before they were ready to start. They were waiting on the basepads to be anadized. They are also only offering 30rd tuning, not 31rd tuning.
  20. As Kent pointed out I run a match on the fourth Sat. and we are now having steel challenge on the second Sat. PM me for my cell number if you want to get in touch with me. We also try to car pool when we go to the FL matches in case your interested.
  21. I was just getting it off of my chest so I could have a good weekend. Then I remembered I don't have a match close by, so I have to finish putting down the new wood floors in the house I can afford That's alright, maybe I'll slip out to the range in the afternoon and release some tension
  22. I'll get my own thread closed if I comment on this one.
  23. That's part of the key, stay in or well below your budget. I work for the state. Last year we recieved a whopping 2% pay raise. Sounds good right? Well after my health insurance went up 36%, my other "benefits" increased 29% my paycheck decreased almost $200 per month. If I was right on the edge budget wise I'd have been in bad shape. Thanks for the cost of living raise Sonny (Purdue).
  24. Thank you! I couldn't agree more. One of the fundamental rights that we have in the country is the right to fail. When I bought my house 10 years ago, I went and got pre-approved. They offered me the chance to borrow about twice what I actually spent. I can't imagine what life would be like today if I agreed to their offer of living outside my means......I'd be screwed. Same here. When we bought our house I lost sleep over it for a month before we finally commited to it. That was for a fraction of what we were offered to borrow. I see first hand everyday what life is like when you take the full amount and a monthly payment is more than one entire months pay for one of the adults in the house. I live within my means, my house payment is less than most people's car payment and I owe less than what a used car goes for these days on it. I can sleep at night knowing that sometime in 2008 I'll write the last check for it, not have any credit card debt or vehicle payment. One of us could loose our job and our quality of life would not be distroyed. I don't see anyone wanting to rush out and give me a boost because I've thought before I swiped a card or signed on the dotted line. What was it one of those comercials always screamed.......Stop the insanity!!! In a questionable economy don't over spend!
