  1. Thanks for your Help today and last weekend, Jimmy. The stages are utilizing the greatness of the bays at 3C tactical. Bring plenty of water and hydrate! its crazy hot and blowing dust. Be prepared! Gonna be a grand shooting adventure.
  2. http://boomershooter.com/area4.pdf Link to the pdf version of the matchbook. big shout out to 38superdub for polishing my crap and making it look presentable. there is a very cool flipbook version available as well. see below. http://pubhtml5.com/yudw/lfxy
  3. certainly. Staff will be shooting all day. just don't get in the way!
  4. Stand 1 makes a better product than Freedom, but then that's just my opinion. Biased of course. I use chubbies in 3 gun and will shoot them next week at the production nationals. They make 129 PF out my 5 inch Walther, same for the M&P 5 inch I use in 3 gun. current pricing shows $230/1000. I do not know anything about shipping as I pick up my orders at the shop. Softer than WWB and very accurate.
  5. A couple of weekend spots have opened up. Stages are going up slowly over on FB. Go give them a look!
  6. There is one sat/sun spot left. No more on the waitlist. send email to md@area4championship.com if you want that spot. there will be no holding, hands or that spot! Still looking for RO's who can use the Ipad or run a timer all day. We will take care of you!
  7. I will be shooting the PPQ at Production Nationals this year. I like it, a lot. Get the 17 round factory 9 mm mags, as they have a slightly beefier base pad.
  8. When I get back from area 3 and Production nats. By August 9th.
  9. I was trying to post the updated class breakdown, but alas the forums won't keep the formating, so it looks messed up!
  10. we are looking for some more Range Officers. To Sign up as staff, go to www.area4championship.com/ro Login is :ro Password is: doingitright
  11. Any chance of a print button on the IPad? it's a dream of mine to print the results for each shooter.
  12. I use stand 1 now and don't have any issues.
  13. $350 a K is not what I would call a good price. What's the upside?
  14. What part of the rule book covers "mention?" It's either in the WSB or it's fair game.
  15. who issued the procedurals and on what grounds were they issued? Another reason to know your rulebook. Question the call and ask for justification. If in doubt seek out the MD/RM.
  16. FWIW, I didn't know Salient built a 2011....
  17. And yet you are the first to complain if a match is too expensive......50% of my budget goes to RO expense and the range usage. Glad I am not doing this too much longer. crybaby's ruin it for everyone. No one would pay what a match really cost to run. It's the volunteers that make the budget work, and the commitment is just to great for so many. Never enough help. I'm glad you live in a place that allows you an affordable range fee and an over abundance of help. A lot of us don't have that luxury. you want to review my budget, call me 214-536-5025 . as tempted as I am to post it, I think it would create more headaches then you do. And I had nothing to do with Cowtown, other than cook the food. My match is area 4.
  18. Big Panda, please point me in the direction of the magic money printing machine? I'll gladly take the $$ I have to spend on the prize table hire you to build the stages. Might as well pay myself as well. I get $65.00 an hour for my time, how about you? I estimate the build to take 30 man hours, not including gas and water. how much do you need? All this bitching about "value" for a volunteer driven sport is pushing me out of the sport. If I ever run another match, its going to be for profit! You can pay my match fee or shoot elsewhere. Be just like Florida Open.
