  1. So I just went through this whole exercise. Props to Charlie Perez for sharing his experience and advice via PM. Now my issue may be different than yours but I will share. I can see 20/15. Can see 9mm holes in paper at 25 yards. This is thanks to Lasik surgery a few years ago. However, I couldn't see my front sight clearly. The biggest issue though is that I couldn't shift my focal distance between far and close fast. I can see clearly at target distance but not my sights. So this made it impossible to get my eyes to focus on my sights. This was exacerbated in dim light like on overcast days. What I did, based on the recommendation of the Big Panda, was to order cheap safety glasses at various Rx strength. I ordered +0.50, +0.75, +1.0 and +1.25. I used these in dry fire and live fire for a few weeks. Eventually settled on +0.75. Shot a match and that validated things. I recently I had an appointment with my optometrist. Explained my issue and he confirmed that +0.75 was the correct prescription. I opted for single vision correction on my dominant eye. +0.25 on my left with the option to change to same correction as dominant or no correction. I just got my Rx glasses. I went with a Wiley X frame that is not too curved. I've dry fired and done a couple live fire session with them. So far really good experience. I can easily snap focus to my front sight but can still see smaller targets at distance. Also no refraction or distortion at all due to the little curvature in the the frame. I also went with clear lenses since I want as much light as possible hitting my eye. Hope this helps. Sent from my SM-G930U using Tapatalk
  2. That's a clinic on the bowling draw! Sent from my SM-G930U using Tapatalk
  3. I'm gonna be the oddball here. I wear Nike Alpha Huarache Elite 2 Turf Baseball Cleats. They're not hard cleats but pliable nubs. I've found them to work well on all surfaces so far. Very comfortable too. And they run under 50 bucks! Sent from my SM-G930U using Tapatalk
  4. If I made one, would you buy it? How much would you pay? Sent from my SM-G930U using Tapatalk
  5. Yes. You're correct. Its early here on the west coast and I haven't had coffee! LOL $3 per 1000 is not bad, especially since they still offer free shipping. Unlike other vendors that didn't raise prices but started charging way more for shipping. Sent from my SM-G930U using Tapatalk
  6. Yup. They raised the price on 124gr FMJ Match Winners too. Up $9 for 3000 or 3 cents per bullet. Sent from my SM-G930U using Tapatalk
  7. The good stuff... you weight is over your toes. You look relaxed. No tension in your shoulders. Not too much head movement. Hands are moving together. What needs work... you're swinging the gun up as you mention. Gun should come up a little higher during the up stroke, then pushed out as your hands meet and you finish. Make sure you grip tension is the same as if you were live firing. Practice slow like you're doing until you get the fundamental movements down and they come naturally. Then start to speed things up. Download a par time app to your phone and use it. Decrease the part time by a 10th of second. Once you're consistently hitting the par time, decrease it again. Sent from my SM-G930U using Tapatalk
  8. I'm not using it. I just need to see if I can find the paddle for it. Send me a PM. I will look for it tomorrow. Sent from my SM-G930U using Tapatalk
  9. The plot thickens. I actually have the version that fits the SP-01. Found in my box of "stuff". I forgot it was a Safariland because I wrapped it in vinyl. Here it is with the vinyl. Here it is after I peeled off the vinyl. Shows the model number. Sent from my SM-G930U using Tapatalk
  10. Safariland does make a holster that fits the SP-01. It has retention. Very secure but easy to draw. It has a release that is actuated by your middle finger as you grip the gun during the draw stroke. Very natural. I own it the short slide version for my P-01. Here are photos. 11. Is this what you are looking for? https://wethepeopleholsters.com/products/cz-75-sp-01-phantom-kydex-owb-concealed-carry-holster?variant=20442341802082&currency=USD&utm_source=google&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=google+shopping&gclid=Cj0KCQjwhZr1BRCLARIsALjRVQPLfH-TRir5tpnYSWfuIhlhV0jSX9oQjt3th-_lkCXrl2LrRaeXH1caAk4kEALw_wcB Sent from my SM-G930U using Tapatalk
  12. Sorry. They do not. Sent from my SM-G930U using Tapatalk
  13. I'm pretty sure Safariland makes an ALS holster for the Sp-01. Sent from my SM-G930U using Tapatalk
  14. Well, its available so that makes it special right now. [emoji23] But it did perform really well on tests published at the Natoreloading.com. The most accurate 9mm powder they tested and they tested almost all of them. But like I said, its available and cheap. And it looks like it burns cleaner than Titegroup so thought I'd try it. I ordered 4 pounds from Grafs so I should have some load experience to share here in the next few weeks. Sent from my SM-G930U using Tapatalk
  15. Any of you load with IMR Target? Can you share your experience? Specifically, how does it meter? Looking at buying some for 9mm minor loads. Found accuracy data and loads for it but also saw a few posts complaining of inconsistent drops. Wanted to hear some more recent experience with it. Sent from my SM-G930U using Tapatalk
  16. Check this out. Has all the info you're looking for on Clean Shot. Nice comparison of many 9mm powders on this site. It's become my go to for objective, qualitative data. http://www.natoreloading.com/d032/ Sent from my SM-G930U using Tapatalk
  17. I've done it in 4 guns. Never had any problem. And I didn't put one scratch or blemish on any of the slides. Tape the slide and put it in a vice. Unless you have terrible aim with a hammer I can't see how you would damage the slide. Put the slide and the new bushing in the freezer to constrict it a bit to make it easier to tap out and into the slide. Sent from my SM-G930U using Tapatalk
  18. It's a 15 minute job. I can't even think of how anyone would get it wrong or foul it up. Sent from my SM-G930U using Tapatalk
  19. Thanks. I'm going with the Hennings. I won't buy anything from TTI. Taran refused to sell standard cap mags to folk in California during freedom week and he lives and operates out of California. Sent from my SM-G930U using Tapatalk
  20. Cool. I checked out the Henning site and it looks like they work with the 17 round Mecgars. What I have. Sent from my SM-G930U using Tapatalk
  21. What mags are you running them on? Sent from my SM-G930U using Tapatalk
  22. Good to know. I've read many testimonials like yours about their work. I also want to run the RDS plate. Looks like I chose correctly. Sent from my SM-G930U using Tapatalk
  23. It's already got the Pro Package. Also has their 10x bushing. Last mod I did was to install the CZC flat trigger. The gun is insanely accurate and the action is really nice. Your setup, is it milled or are you running a plate? I cant tell. Sent from my SM-G930U using Tapatalk
  24. Received my order today. Bullet proof packaging! And there was this little personalized note that put a smile on my face when I open the box. Nice touch. Sent from my SM-G930U using Tapatalk
  25. I'm considering another order but my next one will be a big one. Either 12k or 21k. Not sure yet. And with such a large order, not sure when I should place it. I may send them an email to ask if I should do it now or wait a month or so. Sent from my SM-G930U using Tapatalk
