It's a 2011 open gun

I have a small problem, my open gun that has a cmore slide ride mounting. Once every so often an empty case does not full eject and get caught between the mount and ejection port. What causes this and how do I fix It. It doesn't happen often and is easy to clean. I just want to fix it

I need some help, one of the the screws came out while shooting and there is no way to find it. So what size do I need to replace them.

Thanks, so it's not a bad idea but regular cleaning process is fine.

While cleaning my gun I came up with a question. Today I polished the feed ramp, which I do every other cleaning. My question is do any of you polish the outside surface of the barrel and the guide rod. I didn't do this, but I wanted to put the question/ idea on the forum to see if it is a good or bad idea.

Add a magnet for open. In stages where you have barrel/table starts it's quicker to grab an go buy putting a mag on the magnet

Thanks I think I have it figured out. The rounds were nose diving and getting caught under the feed ramp. My rounds were 1.156. I loaded fifth test rounds at 1.165. mags were out of spec too. If it stops raining I am going to see if my adjustments work. It was odd that the first ten rounds worked in the mag and the last ten worked. The middle of the mag didn't work.

I just ordered and received a CK solution gun I upgraded a bunch of stuff and ended up at around 3500. So far it has been great. I am working on loads that work for my gun. The gun works great. The only problem I have is magazine issue. The gun does not come with mag and I find it frustrating to find info on mags that work. I have sti tubes with Dawson percision base pads my 140mm mags work perfectly. The 170s not so much. So to answer your question. The gun works great, mags not so much. As a disclaimer, I should mention I loaded my 9mm rounds to Short. This seems to be the main problem. 170 mags after being measured were all out of spec. Mags are within spec. update after a trip to the range, I shot three different primers with not real difference in velosity I used cci, Winchester spm, and s&b Sr. I shot 125 blue bullet 6.8 grns of WAC All Winchester brass. My average velocity was 1420 which I feel was a bit much so so I will back down on the powder. Thanks gun worked flawlessly. CK Arms open gun!

Simple question, I see a lot of loads posted but nobody list the primer they use. So what primers does everyone uses for 9 major.

I would add that with CO Vs open, you follow up shots will be faster. Due to the sight not moving as much as In CO. With that said open s just more fun to me. I just upgraded from an open Glock set up to a ck arms build. Going to the range tomorrow!!!

I am loading for an open gun, rifle primes fully ignite the powder and are often more consistent. My Glock would not strike the primers hard enough to ignite the cartridge. Because rifle primes are harder but burn hotter. Therefore I am looking for advice specific to open guns

The Glock didn't like rifle primes, I have always used Winchester Magnum small pistol primers. I will be going to the range tomorrow, to test and break in the new gun. I'm looking for suggestions for primers. Will the CK like rifle primes. I have loads several groups of loads for the new gun to test. My load is 6.8 of WAC, 125grn blue bullet an all of 1.16. I will be taking my chronograph. But I have a large amount of rifle primes. Looking fo suggestions.

I have a Glock 17 built by sjc, it ran flawlessly for the first two years. It now jam up when it got down to five or six rounds bleft in the mag. Nothing I did fixed the problem. I changed springs, an everything ely I got think of. I was shooting a125 grn blue bullet over 6.8 grns of wac. Pf of 172. Nothing seemed to solve the problem. So I ordered y ck arms soluty gun. After adding a few goodies from the build sheet options it came. To 3500. I have two more months until it's delivered. I don't plan on going back. Glocks are great guns but y feel they were not mention to be open guns. It's going to be y long two months wait but worth the cash I have spent. Good lock in your quest to mk the Glock work.

Thanks again, I have bt shooting ope fo almost 4 year now. Using a Glock as your can tell by my screen name. I am truly looking forward to the up grade. With my Glock I often stared a stage with a 140 and finished with my big stick. Most of out stage are a 30 round count. With steal sometime. I was originally asking because I thought about getting all 170 mags. I will probably get a couple 140 so I will not have to drop full/ half full mags. Again thanks for the input.
