  1. I reassembled it, to fit i would have to fit that safety....being that it belongs to a friend I can't modify it The thicker stub near the actual safety is what got hung up going in, not the thinner shaft that the sear spring rest in
  2. Attempted to install a S2 wide safety in my TSO just now and it didn't fit... did yours drop right in? I was able to physically get the s2 safety to go into the frame if I removed the entire sear assembly.. once that was out it was apparent the safety shaft that goes into the frame was too wide
  3. Thanks for all the input guys, I order a CGW spring tuner pack which has 10-15# recoil springs... I will try 12-14# range and see how that works for my TSO
  4. Bump for someone with any input on mainspring weight selection
  5. I own a TSO and a friend just picked up his Shadow 2 this week , both guns feel same/similar in the grip dimensions area and similar in weight. Best bet is to hold both before you dive into purchasing either of them.
  6. My TSO has a 20# mainspring in it , what are you guys running for your mainsprings?
  7. Thanks, my TSO came with what I believe two spare 11# springs and was equipped with a 16#. When I shot the 11# lastnight in a match my friend told me the gun was throwing the brass way to far , suggesting I try a 13# or 14#
  8. I did try to search this before I posted, but no luck in the info. I need. Currently loading .40 major ( 200gr ACME / 4.0gr 231 ) and I wanted to know what are all you guys who load .40 major; what recoil spring # have you found ideal for your guns? Also are the recoil springs from the full size cz 75 and TS compatible with one another?
  9. The CGW Pro-Package retails $280 https://cajungunworks.com/product/75115-production-legal-pro-package-kit-for-manuel-safety/ I'd go that route , plus a F/O front sight , Lok Thin Grips , CGW 10x Bushing , polishing internals and you have a sweet shooter... I have 2 Sp-01 ( a basic model and shadow sp-01) both with work done. If I had to do it all over again I'd just buy a basic sp-01 and do the CGW prokit
  10. I agree with above, on my brother's sp-01 I installed CGW disco, short reset , CZC prod. hammer, 13# mainspring, 11# recoil, polished internals and I got him a slightly under 3# SA and 7# DA
  11. I removed my buffer right out of the box before I shot mine (.40s&w) and it ran fine with 3 boxes of winchester wb , could be buffer ?? Also check your grip and sight screws guys, I found one of my rear sight screws wasn't all the way on and a grip screw was starting to work itself loose on one side... not sure if the grip screw loosening has to do with me shooting .40 . but the sight screw was definitely odd to see it almost loose from box
  12. Good to know and thanks for sharing , did they say how much pounds the spring that comes in gun is?
  13. My TSO shot super low, like 3" low at a 8 yd target, 3 or so full dial turns to bring elevation up solved that . Now she's on point
  14. I decided to give Mec-gar a call and they will provide me a new mag after I send in this one... their customer service is great for all those wondering . I've had this mag for well over a year and many match use
  15. Issue I'm having is the mag would come out after the first shot from start. I tested today with another brand new mecgar 17rd. mag and issue was not the gun. This troublesome mag started doing this consistently last match as well, thought it was me but it wasn't... has anyone run into this issue with their mags? I always use this very mag as my first mag every match loaded to prod. class capacity . Some of my friends told me the lip area of the mag appeared bent slightly but when I measured with my calipers both my new and old troublesome mag have same readings.
  16. Do you guys prefer round nose bullets or round nose flat points ?
  17. Just picked up a CZ Tactical Sport Orange .40 and wanted to know what my fellow CZ shooters loads are ? As well as what type of bullets and weight you guys prefer ( 180 or 200 gr) ; I'm looking at picking up some Xtreme plated and ACME coated 10/40 bullets in both weights to try but some insight would be nice. Xtreme 147gr 9mm bullets has been what I've loaded mostly for my SP-01 in production , tried the ACME but my gun liked plated more.
  18. Measured my TSO pull weight at around 1.5lb. give or take
  19. Mine is the same way , safety is a little tough to engage/disengage... I plan to hit my safety detent with 1000 grit to smoothen it out
  20. How do you like that big safety vs. the one it had? I have those grips on my Sp-01 shadow , love those grips
  21. Has any TSO owners changed out the factory thumbrest on your guns? I'm contemplating changing mine to something wider and installing the CZC oversized safety to aid in comfort/support ; the thumbrest I'm eyeing is one made for the czechmate and regular TS ( http://fasttoys.net/ca/CZ-Czechmate-and-CZ-Tactical-Sport-Thumb-Rest/ )
  22. I got mine saturday and shot it Sunday, you won't be disappointed with the gun ... what kind of holster did you get for it?
  23. Anybody know the recoil spring weight of the TS orange .40 ? as well as the weight of the two included springs?
  24. What are your loads with Win-231 for the 180/200grs that you recommend for Limited .40?
