  1. 39 days and a wake up 'til we're hammer down! It is hard to wait. There is a rumor that we will use the bayonet again. see y'all there. ps. no Sierra shirts this year. we'll tell you why when we get there.
  2. maybe we're gonna grenade a machine gun nest and then machine gun the targets!?? did that before too. kinda fun.
  3. nope, some years back we had to bust down a door and bayonet the dummy at RM3G. so there---
  4. Just dumped my Midway bag in the trash. big hole worn in it. they are inexpensive, but not very durable. I just ordered a Brownell's 54" which is on sale right now for 79.95.
  5. you two preverts can't read! cheese and crackers! Dan you should want the old fart shooting boxes too.
  6. I know somebody said we were going to have to use a bayonet! then shoot it loose!
  7. Eleven days to hammer down! Mebbeso less wind, but might be some showers.
  8. I had a RPR in .308. On top of the above mentioned issues the muzzle threads were tapered to the rear--would not keep the can tight. I now have a Mossberg MVP which was less money. Can stays tight, accurate and most of all uses PMAGs. Savage uses proprietary mags which they are very proud of. The Creedmore calibers are the hot items these days and rightfully so. I stayed with .308 simply because I am old, have beau coup 308 and don't want to get started re-loading another cartridge.
  9. Did somebody say something about using a bayonet?
  10. Some of us are not on facebook or twitter. email works really well, tho.
  11. Comfort Inn and Suites. Might be a little late in making reservations.
  12. for 22 years in the Border Patrol I used 7X50 binos. they were excellent. I now have a pair of Zeiss 8X30s. They are great. I shoot a 1-6X scope and can see the hits easily. So.........I think 7X50s would be sufficient. Quality counts.
  13. Back in my duck hunting days I dreamed of a belt fed shotgun. Now there's a story that needs to be told.
