  1. You can watch a YouTube. Idea and put one together in less than an hour. It's really not as hard as you think. I thought the same thing when I bought my first AR. After I changed everything I didn't like I could've almost bought a JP. I have 4 kids and I still found time to build my last one and my 3 year old helped me
  2. I built my rifle for well under $1500 and I'd guarantee its better than the colt or fn rack guns
  3. The one I got off here was the 1621. And I ordered new TTI extensions. So I'm sure there will be some minor fitting
  4. Gotcha. I found a guy on here with a brass one I might scoop that up
  5. Ok I just ordered some TTI. I wanted the lime green TF ones because of the color but I just felt like Tarans are better. Now to find a magwell. SSS is out of stock and said 3-4 weeks
  6. Alright guys, I need 3 mag extensions and I'm leaning towards the TTI extenions. But Arrendondo are only like $22 from midway. What's everyone else using? Also need a magwell too so let me know what your suggestions are. And if anyone is selling some I'd be interested!
  7. PK has both, and said they're both great, but Odin is cheaper so that's what he's been using lately. But both are very good
  8. Definitely buy a quality upper and a good handguard, cheapy keymods off eBay or like Monstrum Tactical aren't worth the savings. I've had great luck with my Green Mountain rifle barrel. It's 18" fluted rifle gas stainless in 223 WYLDE. I use a JM DPMS compensator because they're hard to beat for $40. ACE Skeleton stock or the Luthar are both light. I have a friend that makes BCGs for a lot of gun manufacturers, and he makes low mass ones, so he hooked me up with one. I run a Taccom light weight adjustable buffer with a JP Spring. I like the CMC triggers, but there are lots of good options. I also run a SLR sentry 7 adjustable gas block, a must have. Nordics 18" barrel and the stretch 16 are also something to consider. Both great, but when I ordered the stretch 16 wasn't available and I've always had good luck with GM barrels
  9. Just got easy and slow. You can always take more out, you don't want to have to build up the aluminum haha
  10. I see you opened up the loading port some. What Matchsaver is that?
  11. How many does that hold? I haven't filled mine up and shot it yet.
  12. +7 extenion doesn't look to bad, I was hoping it wasn't going to look dumb, but it's not bad at all
  13. I don't, but Jesse has one for Nordic. Basically covers shipping cost
  14. I'd flip the guns 180* so the muzzle isn't pointing at your face!
  15. Actually I think the MOA is $5 but I'm guessing that's because he makes his own nut. I was going to get an MOA but they didn't have any in black when I needed to order. I don't think you can go wrong with either one, the only difference is the nut. I'd get a low drag follower too right away and the barrel clamp. I'd get a +7 or 8 just so you have extra capacity.
  16. I think the plus 5 will be a hair longer than the barrel, I'm going with a plus 7
  17. The MOA tube is a Nordic MXT tube with MOA's nut. Only difference.
  18. Nordic got me mine in two days. MOA should have some in stock also
  19. What did you use to polish your mag tube?
